The Browns use the first overall pick of the 2018 draft to select Baker Mayfield. Now to watch if Mayfield leads the Browns to playoff contention, or if Mayfield turns out to be a bust. Since he was chosen as the #1 overall pick, anything short of playoff contention must be considered a bust.

I say bust. Manziel 2.0 Former QB Heisman winners (Jackson included) seem to never work out. Should have drafted Barkley first IMO.

I think the Browns made a mistake on 2 fronts. I would not have taken Mayfield #1 and would not have taken Ward at #4. I hope it works out but I do not think this will.

I like the Nick Chubb selection, having seen Chubb perform in the SEC. Hopefully Chubb's reconstructed knee continues to hold.

I'm also thinking Mayfield will continue the Browns tradition of QB busts. I hope I'm wrong here.
Let's see. How many QB's have the Browns had since 1999? To list them all would disable this website due to memory overload!

If it isn't 30 by now, it is really close to that number. Or they will pass it this year.

Whoever starts the first game is #29 and very likely #30 is soon to follow

Since the Browns won their last game (just 46 days after the Cubs won the WS), the Astros, Eagles, and Capitals all won titles. Go figure!

Well, break out the Brownies! They didn't lose today! That's step #1!

Yeah, they claim he hurt his hamstring on a photo shoot, then came late to a meeting. They have no confidence in him staying clean either.

Congrats, Brownies! You're finally off the schneid! And congrats to Baker Mayfield for leading the team after Taylor's injury! Now he and RG3 can celebrate!
