Had podiatrist appointment last Tuesday (2/16) but weather was too bad. Got appointment tomorrow morning instead. Had COVID-19 vaccination #1 Friday (2/19). Hadn't been out in a while because of the weather.

Podiatrist said the "crater" on the bottom of my right big toe has shrunk about 90% since my previous visit. He's expecting that it will be healed in the next two weeks. Then he gets to see me less often.

Went to sleep specialist (who doubles as my primary care doctor) this morning. He got my CPAP mask straps straightened out. Should have better results now.

Went a whole week without any medical visits. Two scheduled this week: pdoc Tuesday morning (telemedicine), cardiologist Friday morning (face to face). Pdoc is a routine quarterly check, cardiologist will be looking at and possibly treating my aching legs. They feel way too heavy. Peripheral vascular disease.

Got medical visits with cardiologist both Thursday and Friday. They said to not assume I can drive home safely. Got housemate to shuttle me there and back.
Visit with pdoc was strictly routine, although I told her I have congestive heart failure.

Had two of six leg vein ablation treatments so far. Only minimally unpleasant. Worst part is being swabbed with a cold solution. Got more to go every Thursday morning in April. I am able to walk out under my own power when the doctor is done.

I've had three of the six leg vein ablation treatments. They started on the right leg first. No longer feel like my right leg is a ton of bricks, but the skin on the lower leg is still red and swollen.

Completed sixth of six leg vein ablation treatments. Get ultrasound in June to determine if it was successful.
Ulceration on bottom of right big toe has returned. No walking barefoot on tile floors!

Went to podiatrist today. Complained of foot pain in the right foot. He palpated my right foot and scheduled me for a MRI. Get to go back June the 16th.

Had the MRI on the 15th, had podiatrist appointment on the 16th. Too soon to get any results from the MRI.
Had belly pain and nausea the night of the 19th (Sunday). Had ambulance take me to Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital ER. They did ultrasound on my gall bladder and a CT scan of my abdomen. I was dehydrated and they dripped a liter of Lactated Ringer's Solution into my right arm. They were going to give me a shot of Fentanyl but by then everything had resolved except the dehydration. Ate lunch about noon today. No great problems with lunch. My housemate says supper is ready but it's in a Crock-Pot and I'm used to eating about eight o'clock in the evening.

Haven't visited this topic in a while.
Kept having episodes of belly pain every few days through October. It happens a lot less since my gastroenterologist put me on peppermint oil and Prilosec.
Just having routine medical visits since the 26th of October. Only had one episode of epigastric pain. Had a fever of 100.3 two hours after taking generic Tylenol and considered going to the ER but from what they say on the news they are strained because of the combined effects of COVID-19, flu, and RSV. Had my Pfizer bivalent booster in my right arm and a flu shot in my left arm at HEB Halloween morning. Did the deed at the pharmacy and then bought groceries. I was on a scooter and they gave me the shots sitting on the scooter because I don't move that well. I think they made more from giving me the shots than they made from the HEB grocery run.
Going to see internist tomorrow afternoon (where the weather guess app says it will be up to 60) and I'll have my Medicare Annual Wellness Visit Wednesday morning. Last two scheduled as of now medical appointments for 2022.
