HI Doc and WR-Inc, Sorry I missed a couple of days but I got a little busy with stuff. Doc, Sorry you’re having problems with your teeth. Hopefully your moldable gizmo comes soon. Glad you got some rain and the birds are happy. WR-Inc, Seems we’ve been living in the Northwest with all the gloom we’ve had lately. I can’t complain much though as at least the sun isn’t baking the ground. Had to throw some seed out for the squirrels as they were eating the buds off the trees. I’ve seen Farkel come through in shipments at work and always wondered about it. Sounds like you have fun playing it. Glad you were able to rebuild the cabinet. Looks like more rain coming today. Glad we’re missing the severe weather.

Good morning everyone,
Wet out here, too. Too wet to mow.
Zena goes to the vet this morning, and we'll have to get some anti-tick medication for the cats.

'Morning.
Sure wish I could figure some way besides killing them to get all these damned tree rats to go somewhere else. I have two highly productive pecan trees, but I hardly ever get one....the squirrels start cutting them off before they're anywhere NEAR ready. So they get a little, while I get NONE!
Now I'm thinking I may just pump my Chinese AK-477.5 pellet gun up to "STING BUTT" level and see if I can get them to vacate.
Thing that irritates me the most besides their destructiveness is that my dogs don't really seem interested in them at all. Maybe what I need is a squirrel-hating CAT.
Anybody got any ideas? This really bugs the nether hiccups out of me.

Good morning everyone,
We've got plenty of varments here, Docputer. Bring your slingshot.
Rain expected today, but maybe not tomorrow. I really want to mow the lawn.
Haircut today.

Grandson mowed the yard yesterday, it's the first time he has mowed the whole yard in one day. Silly boy, he thinks it's fun. He wanted to do it in tennis shoes, but I had his mama buy him some heavy duty leather boots. I've been working on Deere Johns. Someone thought it was a bush hawg. Bent a blade (they were wore out anyway), twisted the pully, and shattered the housing. Messed up my back in the process. Going to the bone bender this morning.
Got the old engine in the newer tractor (mine). But I gotta finish it.

Good morning everyone,
Wet out here, too. Too wet to mow. Fortunately I got the mowing done before the rains came because it kicked the grass into overdrive.

Good morning everyone,
Got a little more rain last night. I plugged in the Toro walking mower yesterday, and hope to do at least the front yard today.
I hope to finally go through the garage and load up the duplicate tools for donation.

Sure wish somebody with the get up still going could come here and sort out the tools in my garage, otherwise known as "Chaos." I probably have enough tools out there to build a thousand Chinese choo-choos, and if you need a 3/8" socket I could probably provide you with thirty of them....if I could find them, that is, in the God-awful mess.
Bet I got enough screws out there to put together a new pine bridge for Baltimore. That'd be a better deal for them, anyway, since the boards will just float away after being hit by a ship.
Y'all have fun...I'm still suffering over giving birth to a concrete block. Hell to be old and "full of it" in more ways than one!!!

Hey Doc, we got loads of squirrels here. The only thing that scares them away is the little red squirrel. Maybe your neighbors need some pecan trees. The squirrels love the black walnut trees but there are tons of them in the area so they can’t get all of them. Glad I’m not the only one who misplaces tools. Had my car in the shop a while back and they discovered the seat was broken. They welded the part that raises it back together but had to move a bunch of stuff behind it. They found an old AT&T push button phone and my pruners. The phone had been there since I moved about 10 years ago but I’d been looking for my pruners forever. lol
WR-Inc, I should go through my tools too. Don’t know how I ended up with so many rakes. I should mow too. Those darn dandelions are getting a bit too numerous.
Baron62nd, When I was a kid I thought mowing was fun too. My Dad was probably thankful that we started mowing. The only thing he had to do was start the mower for us. Those old gas powered reel mowers cut so much nicer that the newer mowers.

Good morning everyone,
We've got all kinds of squirrels, and yes, the red ones are the meanest.
92% chance of rain today, so no mowing. Maybe a little weed whipping in the morning.

Worst night I've had in a long time last night. Nothing seemed right. Hopefully my Doctor Dope will allow me to get a little sleep.
Hope it's a good day for all of you.

Growing up I thought it was fun to push mow, the first time. Our back yard was an acre and used to be a corn field. It was never leveled before some weeds and a little grass grew.
We have rain coming tonight and tomorrow. At least that's what the Weather Guessers guess. I was going to mow out at the Church, but my bride thinks I should not punish my back until it's better. She's right. So, I'll take the resident grandson and have him fix one of the push mowers. That leaves just one more push mower to finish fixing.

Doc, Hope you have a more restful night.
WR-Inc, I hope we get some dry weather this weekend so I can mow. Gotta put the battery back in the mower and charge it.
The little red squirrel is much smaller than we’ve had in the past. It almost looks like a baby squirrel but it’s been around for over a year now. It must have been the runt of the litter.
