The app tried to force an update on March 27th (how convenient that just happened to be the same day the GB site was getting gutted) but I refused the update. Now the GB app will shut down on my Android phone without any rhyme or reason, usually while I am posting prices at a station. Generally, it will come back up again if I reopen the app, but sometimes it takes restarting the app more than once for it to work properly again. It's frustrating and I'm not sure how long I will put up with this nonsense.
By the way, the link below is for a survey about GasBuddy (the app and the site). Someone suggested to click on 'Other' for each question and answer in detail about how you feel about the site removing the fun & games part of the forums, the whiteboards and the photo albums, and also how the app doesn't even work correctly for a lot of people. I am not able to reach some of the stuff to get all my daily points from the app. So I end up having to go to the site through a browser on my cell phone. Kind of defeats the purpose of having the app in the first place. 😐

The Gas Buddy websites and app servers all appear to have become unavailable as of 11:30 pm EDT on April 9.
I have tried 3 different Gas Buddy websites, and my Android app cannot make contact with the servers.

I tried the Web site right after 11:00 PM Central Time, and it was down. Wanted to see that I didn't win the $100 in gas cards. Tried it a couple of minutes ago, and it was still down. Probably what they deserve for using an ancient version of software developed by Microsoft!

Down here, too. The app is non-responsive and the website throws some sort of database error that I've never seen before.

I'm getting "Something went wrong. Please try again." on the iPhone app.
My iPad, which was my data entry tool Monday, just goes away without further comment.
Maybe GasBuddy pulled a Toys'R'Us maneuver!

The websites came back online several minutes after 1:00 a.m. EDT on April 10.
The app still does not work (app servers do not respond) as of 1:25 a.m. on April 10.

Just made my daily visit to our local GasBuddy site. Read the five news articles. Made a comment with two or three sentences for each one of them. Bought three tickets with the "valuable points."
I checked the GasBuddy app, and it came up on my iPhone. Didn't enter any prices. Too late and too rainy outside to enter prices.

I posted prices early this morning and a couple of hours later the app wouldn't open and I missed posting some prices in the area I was in. Then about 3 or 4 hours later the app was back running. I think gasbuddy must have some inexperienced programmers working for them.

April 20 update - Issues with the iOS app all morning. Can't load station data. Somebody's Database is hosed up again. All my points and statistical data is showing zeros.
