Yo, babycakes!
What's shaking in your world? How's the yard looking? I see a few leaves already falling, but nothing has stared changing colors in my backyard except for that one that tosses off those leaves. But that tree is a bit anemic looking to begin with. Heard the eagles making a lot of noise late Saturday afternoon. I was busy with something so did not run to the back yard to see if I could catch sight of them through the foliage, but was pleased to hear them.
I should plan a walk down on the edges later today to check out the island and river. Sounds like the sand bar must have peeked out from the waters...I heard plenty of geese getting ready to camp there overnight just after sundown last night. They sure talk a bunch before bed!
The wild flower seeds that I tossed into this weedy area by my neighbor's place a few years ago really produced a bunch of flowers this year! I don't recall seeing so much color last year out there! But last year we had so many 90+ degree days and very little rain. I could sure use more 90's, but I think I might be dreaming!
Join me when I sneak over with beets for Mr. G, we will raid his wine cellar and yap about the good old days and tell funny jokes! Gosh I love laughing!
