Hey, babycakes!
Nice to see you stroll through the neighborhood recently! Been staying mighty busy in the salt mine and finally feel like I am catching up and not just chasing my tail!
Road the paddle board for the last time this year and will have to get it out of the trunk to store away for the winter. I suppose it is time to fill the trunk with that lovely winter gear! UGH!
Saw a bit of fall colors in the trees as I drove down to Hastings, MN yesterday to my cousin's place. It's maybe 44 miles from me. They have been dropping trees in the backyard since they moved in so they had plenty of stumps to build a fire around for an after dinner bonfire! We had some pretty good tales, jokes and some stories of things about our relatics that I had not heard before!
Enjoy the remaining weekend, my friend! The wind is whipping about today and forcing some of the leaves to escape from their trees causing some trees into the season of nakedness in my backyard! What is happening in your next of the woods? The weather gurus are yapping about a freeze or frost coming later into the week for us.
