www.aoa.org/patients-and-public/eye-and-vision-problems. Headed out to the closest Vision Center for a normal Eye Exam, and to see why (My age 68-69 soon in March) the eyeglasses I got just 19 months ago with an Rx from the same visit are no longer good for watching TV 10-12 feet away. All other distances are well focussed.

Done with Visionworks and after $700.00 worth of exams and NEW eyeglasses, I wait for my regular pair and the sun ones with the same parameters in a few more days. (The Rx changed drastically for middle distance in the last 19 months)
My Medicare HMO does not cover a dime of today's expenses, (Unless it's a surgical procedure, such as Cataracts and the like) but when it comes to the Health part included the hospital, its amazing and a Nationwide Plan...So I gotta foot the bill, on the mean time I used Care Credit to pay for it, 6 months no interest.
We keep on moving along.

New eyeglasses are always a joy when they are the correct prescription.

My wife got a refill of Olopatadine 0.2% the other day and I noticed the directions "Instill One Drop In each eye." Never heard the word instill used that way but Google says that one definition is to add "drop by drop."

Well it's basically saying INSTALL ... Of course you're not building a thing here, but it's similar in context to me anyways..
Leave to those that like to use fancy words instead of the "drop by drop" instructions.

I went to the Asocc Swiming Pool today and took my Old Rx Sunglasses, just in case...They give me even a more blurry way of looking at things, but for a few minutes it's better than messing up the new ones, that were not cheap to beging with.
