Battleship New Jersey
Regarded as America's most decorated museum, Battleship New Jersey is currently one of the most exciting museums in New Jersey. It is always open for overnight encampments, daytime tours and a wide variety of fascinating events.
Apart from seeing the exhibits of artifacts from the battleship's past or exploring the ship's legendary 16-inch Gun Turret, you can also climb and descend the steep stairs and eat in the original mess halls.

Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area
Visitors will be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful natural environment than the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Within the 70,000-acre park, visitors are able to trek the Appalachian Trail 28 miles along Kittatinny Ridge, peer 1,000 feet into the depths of the Delaware Water Gap, and watch powerful waterfalls tumble over rocky cliffs.
Anglers will love the excellent trout fishing. Liveries provide drop-off, pick-up, and equipment for kayaking, rafting, canoeing, and tubing the Delaware River. The list of outdoor activities in this recreational area is nearly endless, from rock climbing to horseback riding or taking a scenic drive.

Indian Trail Road, near or in Cape May
Side note on Hoboken: I came across a document years back that indicated my paternal grandmother first stepped into the USA at Hoboken, I think was 1912. My Grandpa had already been here once and then went back to East Europe to marry her and bring her over here.

Kenilworth, New Jersey Some highlights of Kenilworth’s history:
Kenilworth’s roots can be traced to a pre-Revolutionary farming community. The Sayre-Shallcross home, near Black Brook Park, is Kenilworth’s oldest surviving structure. Built in 1710 by the tradesman Daniel Sayre, who used water from the nearby stream to cure leather, the home later belonged to Sayre’s grandson, a soldier in the U.S. Continental Army.
One of Kenilworth’s most famous landmarks was the 186-foot Tin Kettle Hill, located in the northeast area of town. During the Revolutionary War, Gen. George Washington designated the site as a key beacon hill for alerting soldiers in the heights above Springfield that the British were on the move. The Springfield troops would, in turn, fire a cannon signaling the militia to prepare for battle. Between 1903 and 1906, the soil from Tin Kettle Hill was removed and used to elevate the tracks for the Pennsylvania Railroad.

Long Brook near Jackson Township. It is a brook, not a name of a town. Could not find a pic for it.
