I was just checking today's weather guess and noticed a story warning that, unsurprisingly, the 2020 hurricane season isn't done. Accuweather's story at that link kindly supplied a handy dandy chart of the Greek Alphabet that will be used to name additional storms:  I was blissfully unaware that Hurricane Epsilon even exists, much less that, apparently, it is spinning away in the open Atlantic. For now, it doesn't pose a threat to North America but it is 2020 . . . . But that's not all! Tropical storm Zeta has popped up in the Caribbean and according to the track presented below, will reach hurricane strength about the time it crosses the tip of Mexico and enters the Gulf. Landfall in the US could be as soon as sometime Wednesday afternoon with the usual suspects in Zeta's cross hairs:  |
