2 years in a row watching the visitors celebrate on Dodger turf sucks.
Maybe next year. Again.

Kershaw re-signs for 3years/93 mil. Good move to keep him a Dodger for life.

In sports, the only thing worse than a sore loser is one who can't win with grace. SMH........

Dodgers sign reliever Joe Kelly. Hopefully this works out well for the Dodgers.

I liked Kelly when he was a member of the Cardinals. He throws in the upper 90s. He can start or relieve. He is fast and can be used as a pinch runner. If he avoids injuries, he will be a nice addition for the Dodgers.

If I recall correctly, it was Joe Kelly who plunked Henley Ramirez in the ribs, fracturing one of them, in the first game against the Cards in the 2013 NLCS. That injury I believe kept the Dodgers from getting into the WS that post season.

The Dodgers just traded Kemp, Puig and Wood to the Reds for Homer Bailey. A salary dump to make room for Harper maybe?

The Dodgers just traded Kemp, Puig and Wood to the Reds for Homer Bailey. A salary dump to make room for Harper maybe? Definitely a salary dump. Next, the Dodgers plan to release Bailey. The contract the Reds gave to Bailey was one of the worst, if not the worst, contract in MLB history.

The Dodgers made a trade with the Blue Jays to obtain a catcher to replace Yasmani Grandal. The Dodgers get Russell Martin in exchange for minor league prospects that include Ronny Brito and pitcher Andrew Sopko. It appears to be a great trade for the Dodgers because Martin has the reputation as a leader on the field and in the clubhouse.

I get that Martin is a good clubhouse guy and he will be around only one year, BUT, why are the big market Dodgers acting like cheapskates? They sold almost 3.9 million tickets. The fans come out in droves, buy the gear and spend a ton at the stadium. Not to mention the tv contract that brings in billions that most of us can't see. Is this how the team is paying back the fans by not going after some of the big names that were/are out there? It's frustrating to say the least.

I will always believe the Dodgers should've signed Machado. Put him at short, Seager at second this year to build up Seager's arm. Next year, if Turner leaves, put Manny at third and move Seager back to second. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

It looks like Rich Hill will be on the hill opening day. That ends Kershaw's streak going back to 2011.

Opening Day was a blast! 8 hr's from L.A. to set an MLB opening day record for homers. Still, a long way to go to October.
