Went to Fargo yesterday to have my hearing aids double checked. I've been pleased with them.
I wish they would come up with something to stop my ears from ringing all the time. Tinnitus sucks.

Had a BIG RAINSTORM last night...I missed the whole show....slept well, as NOT usual....except for Gobi Desert Dry Mouth, which is my usual usual when sleeping well. Oh, well....AND left off the DAMNED Tramadol!
Mr. Ed, I assume you have been to see an ENT guy, huh? There are some things they can try. And, of course, you can buy any of the forty-nine dozen "cures" you can find on Amazon and elsewhere.
I find it really amazing that people can get away with selling those "cure-alls," but you can find dozens of them for ANY problem:
"Put three of these drops in each ear at night to restore your eyesight to 20-20, make you able to hear a cricket fart from three miles away, and make your pecker stand at attention and SALUTE!"
(I almost bought some of that last stuff, but I decided it'd be a waste, since my eyesight is already 20-20 and 20-30, so I don't need glasses for anything...and I'm not really into cricket farts all that much. Still, if it'd make Willy stand at attention again.....)

Good morning everyone,
I've had the ringing for years. I don't think there's a cure.
Went to the Twin Cities yesterday for a Memorial Service for one of our neighbors. Some go far too young.
Another neighbor, who didn't really know the one who died, rode with us and we had brunch with him and his girl friend. He can then drive a car he bought to tow behind his mobile home.
Today I'll buy a new electric screwdriver, since my trusty 30 year old one now dies after 4 screws, and that will be the quickest way to finish my garage project.

Yeah I've seen a few to no avail. I asked one why they can't find a cure and he said "because no one donates their ears to science".

I have that ringing in the ears from C-130's. Background white noise is the best answer. It's not in the ears anyway. The brain knows something is missing so it fills that in with rrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggg! So feed the brain white noise and it's happy. Some hearing aids have white noise, or so I'm told.

Bonus Days, Y'all.
Gonna be a great day somewhere....hope it's here...and at your place, too.
I just finished off a self-chefed bean/cheese taco, so it ain't bad here, anyway....plus I got coffee and a Boost and all my meds.
Now if I just had a good, LOOOONG serving of The Universal Dessert......
Oh, well....God is a pretty smart Guy, so maybe that's one of the secrets of what goes in Heaven...reckon?
I sure hope so!!!

Good morning everyone,
Got the tractor out 3 times to clear this last snowfall. That's more than the rest of this "Winter."

Anything going one with Y'all? Nuttin' here, sept doctors and Physical Therapy. Our insurance guy went to cancel my health insurance at the end of the month and start a new plan for my wife since I am starting Medicare on April first but something happened and it canceled me immediately leaving me with no coverage for the rest of the month. He called them up with me on the line to get it straightened out and the gal on the phone said she did but I won't hear anything for 10 days! By then I will have been on Medicare for a week. My agent said this happens all the time and the gal on the phone said you need to do it the day of or the day before at the earliest or this happens. Stupid agent should know that don't you think?

Mr. Ed, one nice thing about Texas Teacher Retirement is that they take pretty good care of retirees, so I don't have to worry at all about it...generally speaking. Once in a while, though, we get a different med coverage plan that wees me off. Like since January I've had constant irritation with "Express Scripts," which took over from last year's CVS Caremark. Maybe FINALLY it's going to start working better. Oh, well...I have to take something like fifteen pills a day, so it's expensive, no matter what.
Enjoy your snow, WRINC. We were in the high eighties for a while today. Kimbu and I went to Bourbon Street Seafood this evening, where I had some pretty good fried oysters. Might just go to the newly reopened Dry Dock Oyster Bar tomorrow for some more. I do love me some fried oysters!
Hang in there, Baron.

Good morning everyone,
Highs in the 40's for the next few days, with no snow in sight.
My wife invited a neighbor over for Easter dinner yesterday. Now I have to go to the grocery store on a day long known for crowds.
I hope to finally take the time to finish my garage project. The canopy holder for the tractor won't be needed as soon as I previously thought, but it will eventually be needed.

G'morning.
WRINC, seems to me you need to adopt one of Docputer's well-known rules: "You take on the job, you do the work!"
"VEDDY ZIMBULL, VEDDY EEZY!"
Me, I AM gonna cut some grass today. Got the mower oiled and gassed, got the new filter put in...now all I have to do is get it going after sitting in the garage since last summer. No problemo, Hoser! Got me TWO cans of "starter fluid."
Now if I can get my backside to go with me, we are in BUSINESS!
(In case you wonder about that, mine may be the only A*S*S in the Universe that has a mind of its own!)
Catch you on the flopside!
