Still holding out, but tomorrow's gotta be the day.
The Columbus average is now $3.386, with all bargain board prices in the upper 2.20s. But the lowest Kroger is posted at $2.32, and the one nearest me is posted at $2.45, though I'm suspicious of a made up price there. A $2.32 Kroger is not that much further than the one that's closest to me, and I can make it on my way to do something else.

Not today.
Hotskel - Our local Sheetz in Meadville was also torn down last week. The site has a small footprint so the new store will be larger at the expense of a few fuel pumps. Must be more profit in beer!

Must be more profit in beer! lorando - SheetZ isn't messing around with replacing their smaller outdated stores as well as opening new locations. With so many different stores closing these days like Kmart, Staples, etc. that's good to see. They did the same thing in DuBois the last two years replacing two stores with bigger ones. The Clarion location bought properties behind the store so it will be much bigger with no loss of pumps & yes they secured a liquor license so the suds will flow.

Not today.
I bought gas yesterday. I did see the price warning on that other site, which alerted me to a 30 cent price hike.
So I got it in gear, tossed 4 empty gas cans into my truck, and hi tailed it to Krogers -- one that's 3 miles further than the closest one, that I'm sure had already spiked. The price there was 2.30 but with my dollar off from their fuel promotion, I was able to get 35 gallons at $1.30/gal. Half went in my tank, half into the cans.
