Yes, I did at SheetZ. I didn't need gas as I had about half a tank but since it was $3.50 and gas back home is $3.75 I thought "Why the SheetZ not?"

Bought GAS $3.699/gallon last night, subtotal: $43.05
Used perks from Giant Eagle $6 so Total was $37.05

Not today
Regarding the mini price war comments, I don't see SheetZ leading that based on their behavior here. They tend to raise prices fast when there's a spike and are not the first to drop. But they will have their grand opening price reduction, so that's something to look forward to!
They've been disappointing recently as they're never the lowest and at best are tied. In Falls Creek there's only one station across the street but today in Brookville they were $3.50 because there's a Marathon across the street and a Giant Eagle next door and a Love's nearby so they were forced to drop the price

That's exactly what I've observed here once the grand opening is over and the introductory low prices go away.

Are you near Avon, Ohio? I just saw a SheetZ video announcing the grand opening.

Are you near Avon, Ohio? I just saw a SheetZ video announcing the grand opening. No, Avon is up north on Lake Erie, a western Cleveland suburb. I'm down in the Columbus area in the center of the state.
Columbus touts itself as Ohio's largest city but the Cleveland metro area is considerably larger. I'd guess SheetZ' development plan for that area would include considerably more stores and take a lot longer to build out.

Not today but here's some news on the first Michigan SheetZ & store #2 in Mi.
As of July 12, 2024, the SheetZ at 33380 Wick Road in Romulus, Michigan is scheduled to open this summer. The store is the first SheetZ location in Michigan and is about four miles from the Metro Detroit airport.
SheetZ announces 2 new locations opening in Metro Detroit.
The Romulus location will be on Middlebelt Road, north of I-94, and the Chesterfield Township location will be on 23 Mile Road, just east of I-94.
