Hey alaric76. Going to the Doc tomorrow. I sure wish he had not given me tape to use that he said I was not allergic to because I am allergic to the tape and now my foot is red and swollen. I took a pic of my foot on Monday just to show him what his carelessness has caused. I trusted he had checked with my allergist or with 3M to make sure that the ingredients used in their product was not on my allergy list, but I know now without asking him that he did not bother to check it out. Just "thought" I would not be allergic to this particular type of tape. SIGH As for our country, really don't even have a good choice for Governor this year. Current one or one that was a republican governor who has decided to run as a democrat this time, and he was not a very good governor when he held the office. At least the current one is better than he was, yet I would have like another choice. I pray you didn;t get any shots they are very bad! |

Ron DeSantis is a better choice than the person running against him.
The person running against DeSantis was Governor of FL when he was a Republican. Now he is running as a Democrat. He was not a very good Governor when he held the office before. He is a lifetime politician who "plays" at being a lawyer between running for different offices.

Yes, the press is really after DeSantis as they believe he is going to make a run to become President especially if Trump does not run again.
Right now, I am preparing just in case Hurricane Ivan heads my way. I'm sure my area will get rain and wind, but how much is yet to be determined. Will know more come Monday night.

Well Ivan hit my coast of FL about 75 to 100 miles south of where I live. I did evacuate. Came home today and there was NO damage.
Now this deadly storm is heading up the east coast of the USA.

No, the hurricane did not come back to the west coast of FL. It crossed over the state and exited on the east coast of FL and then when north into the Carolinas', etc.
