 Alton Crawford Brown Jr. is an American television personality, food show presenter, chef, author, actor, cinematographer, and musician. He is the creator and host of the Food Network television show Good Eats that ran for 14 seasons, host of the mini-series Feasting on Asphalt and Feasting on Waves, and host and main commentator on Iron Chef America and Cutthroat Kitchen. Brown is a best-selling author of several books on food and cooking. A "recap" series titled "Good Eats Reloaded" aired on Cooking Channel starting in October 2018, and a true sequel series titled Good Eats: The Return premiered on August 25, 2019, on Food Network.

 Geraldine Leigh Chaplin is an English-American actress. She is the daughter of Charlie Chaplin, the first of eight children with fourth wife Oona O'Neill.
After beginnings in dance and modeling, she turned her attention to acting, and made her English-language acting debut in her portrayal of Tonya in David Lean's Doctor Zhivago.
She made her Broadway acting debut in Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes in 1967, and received her second Golden Globe nomination for Robert Altman's Nashville. She received a BAFTA nomination for her role in Welcome to L.A.. She played her grandmother Hannah Chaplin in the biopic, Chaplin for which she received her third Golden Globe nomination.

 Mary-Louise Parker is an American actress and writer. After making her stage debut as Rita in a Broadway production of Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss in 1990, Parker came to prominence for film roles in Grand Canyon, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Client, Bullets over Broadway, Boys on the Side, The Portrait of a Lady, and The Maker.
Among stage and independent film appearances thereafter, Parker received the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for her portrayal of Catherine Llewellyn in David Auburn's Proof in 2001, among other accolades. Between 2001 and 2006, she recurred as Amy Gardner on the NBC television series The West Wing, for which she was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2002. She received both the Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy Awards for her portrayal of Harper Pitt on the acclaimed HBO television miniseries Angels in America in 2003.

Ex-Con Martha Stewart turns 79 today. Her role in the ImClone insider trading affair led to imprisonment in 2004(I heard speculation that her prison cell was extremely well-decorated) but she managed to bounce back even after many pundits predicted the collapse of her empire.
