Eggman it doesn't sound good does it?
Chris46, that is funny, no zip. LOL. Love your humor. I still haven't been to buy anything so l tried 1/2 of the old meclizine and it felt mushy and no bad effects so.....but l don't even need any now.
Got that chicken cooked and today l have planned to make chicken pot pies. Hopefully l can find room in the freezer for 3 of them. I have nothing else on agenda sooo whynot? Already taking Advil for bursitis and that should help back too. or it will confuse the pill as to where to go, one or the other.
I cleaned out my garbage disposal. l know it doesn't last but that black yucky stuff right below where l am preparing veggies etc, bothers me, so l take cloths and wipe out all around under there til they come out clean. Makes me feel better anyway.
Sink is now full of pots etc from cooking the chicken and dumplings. I am not like my sister, l can go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink. LOL. I take care of things in the mornings when l have energy.

Tru, wow, what a day. When I was a kid and lived with my parents, we had a dishwasher that was mobile, and we would pull it out from its hiding spot and hook up the water to the faucet. It was the coolest thing when we first got it. I think my parents have since got it attached to water and don't have to move it around anymore. But, yep, they get in the way when they are running, and no access to water. Glad all your tests turned out well. I have never been old either. I keep referring to old people, and then my wife reminds me I am that old, and sometimes older than the old people I am referring too. (I am 52)
Did you put your clothes in the dishwasher? Do you have outdoor washer dryer? Inside out, and front wards backwards, so each one could be worn 4 times until dirty... They say.
What did i score on, nothing really I guess scored, but english muffins were a buck off, and a couple other things had a nice markdown. But, I saw last night the store is having a fuel rewards sale, and I think every $30 spent, you get .15 in gas off per gallon. I woulda made .45 cents off per gallon. This sale is Fri, Sat, Sun. I don't think I will need $30 worth of stuff over the weekend.
I am thinking I may take off the studded tires on the commuter bike this weekend. If that happens, life will be sweet! Especially if I don't encounter any ice after that. But, I haven't seen any ice in three days on the three different routes I have taken.
eggman, thoughts and prayers for your sister. My parents are currently in Fountain Hills Arizona. They go there for Jan-Mar each year.

I'm praying for you too. But I don't know how much sway I have with the big guy (or girl). It's not a girl, it's a woman. tru, What a lot of stuff to go through just to get in to see the dr. I know you mentioned pain reliever but can you ice the area with bursitis? That may help...just a bag of frozen peas will do it. Looks like the white stuff will miss us this time as it's mainly south and west of the TC area. cgrover, I hear that more white stuff is in the forecast for monday/tuesday. I was wondering on the sitethatshallnotbenamed where you got the deals on the grocerys but when you mentioned the fuel discount that told me. There isn't a Hyvee near me so I'll have to pass on the deals.

So the powers that be here somewhere, l read not to use the large print but to enlarge by using my own computer to do so. Save space here and he (CampKohler) also said not to use the quote, but to reply and that would save all the odd colors etc. Anyway that is what l will now do. You can enlarge if needed on your computer.
On to the subject at hand. Sorry l missed your birthday Eggman. I had just about given up doing that by entering them all in my journal and/or small calendar book, when the old site showed up with the monthly birthday lists. So l was referring to that.

Dirt girl, l thought it was funny after l got thru the hard part of checking in at dr office. The lady who examined my xrays and me was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Now the mammogram is causing some alarm. They called and asked me to return for a sonogram on one side.
I won't worry til have a reason tho. may just be to clarify some tiny spot. smudge or whatever. Actually it happened to me once before long ago. That worked out ..

CGrover, wish my dishwasher had a hiding spot, but it sits right in the middle of the kitchen which is tiny, and l move it over to get out the front door even.
Last night l had an awful dream about the dishwasher oddly enough.. I dreamed l woke to a large stain on the floor and it wasn't water, but oil and l was going round and round as to how to remove the dishwasher from my dream apt without staining the carpet getting it to the door. Trying to put a garbage bag under it and other dumb things. It was a nightmare.

Aha! I found you. Tru, I had bursitis in my hip a couple of years ago. It'll go away, but it can take months and is painful in the meantime. I was getting acupuncture at the time, so I included it in that instead of drugs. I was told the time it lasts is variable, so I hope yours doesn't last too long. I had an MRI at that time, to make sure it wasn't something worse. It is worn down in there, but not so bad as to need replacement. So in that respect was glad it was the bursitis. I think I have it in my heel now. So glad your trip to the ER showed nothing serious! I had a similar experience (without the COPD) the year before the bursitis. I was dizzy and there were a few other things, that together could have been the heart, but thankfully wasn't. I had a hard time deciding whether or not to go to the ER. It was about 11 pm and my (now deceased) friend, Deanie, offered to take me, so we went. I had a bunch of tests and the next day I was supposed to pick up a Rx for meclazine. But the dizziness got better so I never made the trip to the drug store to get it. The hospital wasn't busy and my friend was there to keep me company, so I was kind of glad to have gotten all the tests done and out of the way without having to make appointments, go to clinics, etc. I've been told that there's something inside the ears that can get out of whack and a physical therapist or chiropractor can easily fix it. I think my p.t. did that. Deanie wasn't a night person like I am, but she got into it. On the way home she suggested going out for an early breakfast, so we went to Perkins and ate omelets. We turned it into an adventure. I miss her. CGrover, you might want to keep those winter tires on a little longer. There's some early morning ice possible in the forecast for Monday or Tuesday. I'm surprised at your age. With all the riding you do, I assumed you to be younger. But all that riding is probably keeping you younger, if you know what I mean. We had a 50th anniversary party for my parents. They almost made it to 60, but my dad died a few month before that.

My sink is full of dirty skillet and pots again. I did make the chicken pot pies and l added flour again and again to thicken the sauce but never did really get it thick enough. Just the opposite of my first attempt in making gravy. The pies were large and l ate one for lunch and dinner. That's how large they are. Froze 3.
CGrover another thing l just remembered you said you are 52 and think you are old...LOL, my baby is almost that age. I have 3 others that are way older than you. At 55 l started a new life and job. I was at least l felt young. I "retired" from a work injury almost 8 years later. I am 87 years old, and now l am starting to feel it.

Hey Goldie!!! Glad you made it. Yes that is exactly how l felt about the not having to make appts and see a couple more drs. Got it all worked out in the one visit. But afterwards l had a mammogram appt and they wheeled me over to it as l hadn't brought my cane even. Now yesterday l got a call to make another appt to follow up on that with a sonogram. Not to worry l had that happen before.
I kinda thought it might be a bit too positive thinking about CGrover's removing the spiked bicycle tires myself.
So l hope a few more people migrate to my post here as l just don't think l will be going to a lot of the topics so far it seems mostly games , and l don't play games. The other regular topics l don't have any info or interest in...maybe cooking. I don't garden anymore, never was good at photography, or any other topics. I tried to post my comment in a political post of kids walking out of schools when l read they were called THUGS ...and l got a bunch of crazy posts that even went into my being loaded on a train to be exterminated, so l won't go back there again. There really are some crazies in political discussions.

Me too Eggman. I loved my life at 55. Climbing hills to water tank, and orchard trees to prune them. Cleaning out the water tower. Gardening, building a rock garden at a creek alongside our house. Helping husband fencing property. Crawling under the house to clean out ashes, using a piece of rubber to repair a water leak. Diverting rain from the attic leak, and cleaning hardened mud from the claws of a chicken. ON and ON. Loved country living then at that age.

tru, You need to stay out of political topics where that person posts and yes that TC member is a very vocal in her opinions and only her opinions matter. This is a much nicer topic than the political ones anyway.
