I just came from the clubhouse Trucky.
Dirt girl am going to stay out of political threads again. I just bounced in to make one minor comment and woke up a bunch of nasty commenting name calling crazies. LOL
CGrover, l am finally going to a store today myself for coffee on sale. But wonder if l will be attracted to buy anything else. Any big bargains, certainly aren't any in the book they send out, except the coffee..
Sandipaws, hi and welcome. Long term members at last place didn't get you anything did it? Certainly no appreciation.
Looks like smooth sailing , weatherwise here for the next 10 days. High today is only in 50's but later in week they say 80's. Any suggestions what an old person like me can do on an 80 degree day? Sit in the sun on a bench is all l remember seeing old folks do.
Goldie..make you jealous? Weatherwise l mean? Glad you made it here. i am thinking of just a couple of places that l will post here when it all settles down. I am suggesting " Random Thoughts" that Gramsjc came up with. I think that is a great title for a thread. Fits me anyway..that's what l do ..
Gramsjc l hope you start a thread called Random thoughts. OK? l would post there.

Oh man, I guess I will have to check out the weather reports. I was so excited. All the paths and streets I have rode in the past week have been water, snow, and ice free. Biking may be keeping me young. A mtn bike guy I know, who is around 80, used to have this on his posts "You don't quit biking because you get old. You get old because you quit biking."
I don't think I have ever been in the political threads. Nothing there for me.
I do have many random thoughts.
Last night 11 people showed up for my invite to a local whiskey bar and speakeasy to enjoy some of their Tiki Week celebrations. My eldest brother (who also bikes) and my middle brother and his wife were there. His wife told me he was very excited to be invited. It seemed like everyone had a great time. I had the SPAM sliders, and they were fabulous.
Good luck at the store tru. Stores usually do seem to have some sales that you don't expect. I am bummed, because the stroe I scored at earlier in the week, is having a Spend $30, get .15 off per gallon. Every $30, you get another .15. I don't have $30 in grocery needs now, after that large trip.
Sorry about the nightmare tru. That would have been terrible. Your days sounded fabulous!
Have a sweet one! Maybe I will make that ice cream recipe I have been thinking about today...

Moved the stepdaughter into her new house today. Man am I getting weak in my old age! Luckily, two of the stronger types showed up and did most of the heavy lifting.
Tru, did you pick up new flowers for the Ol' Coots' Clubhouse?
