R is for Rationing (In the history of this country, mainly during wartime, the citizens are asked to curb their consumption of certain items deemed important to the war efforts. Coupon books were issued, and people with the 'need' for such things (Nylon stockings, gasoline, rubber, select food items [Spam! Spam! Spam!...], and whatever medical supplies were designated essential), could present their coupons for those 'luxuries').

F is for Flugelhorn (I checked the spelling with Google, suck my horn, auto-correct. This instrument was re-popularized by Chuck Mangione in the 1970s album "Feels so Good". One of his 30 albums he released. Wow!).
