Howdy Folks !
Nice to see faces new to me along with long time friends, welcome all.
After this morning's yoga class I may need a nap but am concerned that I'll miss Spring if I close my eyes for too long.
TOPitOFF I may leave this cold and snow and move in with you for a while.
On our road trip we saw an eagle soaring and another on a nest, a good sign.
Time to get some fresh air as I clear the overnight snow from my driveway.
Enjoy !

Howdy!
MrG, we're gonna head up to Duluth to look at the big lakers today. I'm gonna let Ma Nature take care of my driveway this time.

Howdy, all!
I likey the picture, MrGG! Looks just like you!
How was the Blue Grass jam, BGJam?
What was great about your w/e, Nash?
Hey, Topper!! Ought to be touching 40ish tomorrow if we are lucky! Although that weather person let the 4 letter s-word back for next weekend! I have just about had it with Mother Nature this spring! Not a chance of ice out on any nearby lakes! It's still 28 inches thick on Lake Minnetonka in some places.
Hope it was a good day, everyone! Jude

Howdy!
Mrs BG and I saw the James R Barker come in at 11 pm last nite, but missed the Michipicoten this morning 'cause she came in at 5 am rather than the predicted 9:45 am. There are a couple more today.
FS, we had a great jam last Thursday and I, and a couple other bluegrassers, came up to the Duluth Radisson on Sat for a bluegrass festival. The callouses on my fret fingers are building! Beautiful sunrise over Lake Superior this morning! Nice and clear outside and it looks like it'll be a great day. I love Duluth!
Topper, seeing these 1000' ore freighters is incredible. Those pilots manuever them around like they're row boats. Well worth the trip!

Howdy Folks !
Welcome to another local, MN visitor, rycott.
Perhaps we'll adopt TOPitOFF to make him an honorary Minnesotan, at least on a temporary basis, should he come for a river cruise this summer.
Le't hope that this coming Summer falls on a weekend.
I need a haircut but that may wait until the temp hits 60, my hair may be down below my knees by then but I don't want frostbite on my ears.
A couple road trips are on the horizon but we need to get to Duluth to see some ships live instead of just on the webcams, perhaps when the first "saltie" arrives.
We are considering another drive all the way around Lake Superior or just an extended visit to the UP and the Sault Ste Marie area, perhaps in the Fall.
Today will include a cruise around town to look at counter tops, a kitchen sink and faucet, maybe we can hire FliesSolo as a consultant if she has some suggestions.
I actually took a picture of a rebate receipt and found a way to attach it to an on-line rebate form to save the cost of a stamp but need some in-person tutoring to shrink the pictures I have so I can use them here.
Eat dessert first, life is uncertain !
