Navy~Retired.
Well here we are again; this day is a sorrowful one for me. I lost a dear friend and former shipmate yesterday; he fought his final battle and unfortunately lost this one. A former Navy cook, survived by his wife and some distant relatives; words are never enough. Now we're trying to cope with the loss, its very early in the grieving process. A Navy color guard has been requested, words are hard to come by right now.
That's all I got from this end, try and enjoy your day and travel safely...

I lost a good friend of mine from work. Her husband (who also works there) says that he thinks she went peacefully in her sleep last night. She was only 48 years old and had been battling with MS. Again travelinman52, prayers for you and your friend's family.

Well here we are again, plugging our way through another work week; today being that famous hump day. We got some rain last night, kind of a moderate day today is expected. A pretty quiet one outside right now. I'm still trying to get started, the coffee hasn't kicked in just yet.
Well that's all I got from this end, enjoy your day and travel safely...
