Our GBO Forum has limited space available for attachments. When storage space becomes very scarce, attachments will be removed from the forum, typically in the order posted. That will leave behind a post that may make little if any sense. GM, 10/9/23.
HOW TO CONCEPT: Add Photos, Without Using Up GBO Megabytes
Choose your photo on internet:
Go to GBO:

HOW TO CONCEPT: Adjust Photo Size
Now enjoy and ultimately save megabytes

Notes:
1 This will not work with attachment photos, because you will not see "max-width:100%" in attachments. How can you tell if you have attachment photos? Look into BBCode again. If you see the word, "attachment" anywhere there, it's using up our megabytes. Just delete attachment photos and create new photos this good way. (So far I have saved at least 12 or more megabytes by deleting!) (That's 12,000+ kilobytes!). You can delete a few photos a day - or many more if you are retired, as I am.
HOW TO CONCEPT: Add Photos, Without Using Up GBO Megabytes
Choose your photo on internet:
- Example: Go to Google or Bing; type on address line: "images of roses" (or replace "roses" for subject of your choice) and click to search
- Click on photo of your choice
- Your Photo appears on new screen, click on photo again (important)
- That brought up the correct address for the photo - at top on address line
- Right click on address; on the drop-down note, click on "Copy"
Go to GBO:
- Start a new post (click on reply) - or click on edit in one of your existing posts where you want the photo to appear
- Then click above, on little avatar that will say "Insert Image" when you point to it
- A box opens up; (now delete http://). Then to right of "Image URL" , right click in box and choose "Paste"
- Click on button just below that, which says "Insert Image"
Note: Only add photos or other items in any manner if you own them or otherwise have a right to post them. It is the poster's responsibility to understand this: If you don't know that you have such a right, please refrain from posting a photo or item. GM, 10/9/23.
