chitownsportsfan, Condolences on the sudden departure of your Bears from the Playoffs. Didn't think the kicking game would be so severely altered this season. I've had the 0-4 weekend before, also. Not pleasant at all. Rebound in the Divisional Round. * Regards.

Colts-Chiefs have a poor playoff history at home, and so does Andy Reid. Rams Chargers-Probably more wishful thinking on my part, but the Pats are pretty beat up and the Bolts are hot. Saints-Can't see anyone winning in that dome.

Rebounded Sunday to salvage a 50/50 weekend. CS, better days are ahead for the Bears, I don't see any of the other divisional foes getting much better.
Divisional Round
Saturday COLTS over Chiefs - tough for KC and it's playoff history having to face the hottest team in the league. RAMS over Cowboys
Sunday PATRIOTS over Chargers - I'm willing to sacrifice a win to be wrong! SAINTS over Everything - does the Philly magic end in the Voodoo city?

Glad I'm not alone in recognizing that Mr. Reid is a good football mind, but not a very good head coach. Only looking at his record in the Playoffs. Not staying in K.C. long if the Colts take them out of the Playoffs, Saturday night. The Chiefs fans have long memories, and that much talent would be wasted if they don't host the AFC Championship game. It reads like I'm out of my mind. It happens often living with the NFL during cold and dark Winter months. * I believe we have a consensus as far as the Saints go "Hosting the March into the NFC Championship game". I'm just as happy to have the Rams potentially take out the Cowboys. The Boys are dangerous at home. On the road, not so much. * In my opinion, the theme for this weekend is: "NFC teams win at home, and AFC teams win on the road." We'll see what that is worth.
Saturday - 1) Colts over Chiefs. 2) Rams over Cowboys.
Sunday - 3) Chargers over Patriots. 4) Saints over Eagles.
Regards.

Home cooking held serve this week, although the Saints had to fight off rustiness and tons of penalties to prevail.
Prediction results:
PKVol.....3-1 michaelvalorie.....3-1 chitownsportsfan.....2-2 DrivingtoMars.....2-2
Conference championship picks:
Chiefs-I'm now a Mahomes believer. He ended their playoff futility, and he can take them to the next level. Saints-They played sloppy because of a long layoff. That won't happen again.

Well, words cannot describe what a rotten NFL postseason I'm having! Seems like every team I root for loses and every team I root against wins! In addition to my Bears heartbreak, we now have a SB featuring 2 teams I cannot possibly root for! I'm just tired of the Pats, and the Rams got in thanks to the most egregiously bad referee non-call of all time!
Not to mention I'm having the most historically bad prediction postseason ever! You can't possibly do worse than me if you tried!
Conference championship prediction results:
michaelvalorie.....1-1 PKVol.....0-2 Drivingtomars.....0-2 chitownsportsfan.....0-2
Totals so far:
michaelvalorie.....5-5 Drivingtomars.....5-5 PKVol.....5-5 chitownsportsfan.....2-8
Might as well pick the SB now, since I'm already setting futility records. I'm picking the Pats. There, now I've jinxed them!
Have a nice day.

When was the last time both Conference Championship games went to OT, and both home teams lost? Great games.

Not many predicted the 2 finalists, most went with the Saints and the Chiefs..
Me personally do not follow the NFL, and this Super Bowl will be another miss for me, nothing there that drives me nuts !!!

It was a great NFL Weekend..
Now we wait approx. 2 weeks now for the Superbowl!
Yes, and it's the Patriots back in for an Eleventh appearance.. I will have to go once again with the defense..
and for this year's Lombardi Trophy winner: the Los Angeles Rams..

Will mentally chew on the results (gristle), and see if it is possible to make a comeback from the 0-(>1) weekend. I'm not alone, and hopefully no further pain will have to be endured. * Will be back to make a pick before the Big Dance starts. * Regards.
