I'm back, and have nothing left to lose at this point. * It may be close. Or not. * Either way it should be entertaining. * Rams 33 Pats 31.

Well, a miserable postseason ends appropriately with a miserable game! Goff was definitely not ready for the moment. Wonder how the Saints would've matched up with the Pats. NE might have still won, but it would've been a MUCH better game with Drew Brees opposing them. Congrats to the Pats.

Some big pass plays broken up at the last second, including 1 or 2 TD's for the Rams....

It was a splendid example of smothering defenses, in a league so tilted towards explosive offense. * Getting past the strategy part, The Rams just seemed like they were happy to be there. Wrong answer. One never goes to the Big Dance just to say they got there. That has been the curse of so may coaches over the years. * They get to the Conference Championship level, or the Big Dance level, but that's it. No hardware. No parade. No bonus. It's happened with numerous coaches. Mr. Grant (Minnesota), Mr. Levy (Buffalo), Mr. Reeves (Denver), and Mr. Smith (Atlanta). There are probably more. At least they got their teams there. It is slippery fish to go that deep in the Playoffs, and they went multiple times. So close but yet so far. * It's over and done for another season. We can review the successes and failures until the next season starts. * Regards.
