The Steelers have lost a few players due to cap issues. The only one who will be missed is Chris Hubbard, who went to Cleveland. It was no surprise that they would not be able to keep him.

What do you think about Bell being tagged again?

What do you think about Bell being tagged again? A necessary evil. I have no doubt he will again try to hold the team hostage. If he ends up sitting out any of the regular season, it won’t bode well for him.

Ray Lewis has chosen his daughter to present him at his HOF induction in August. In related news the NFL HOF officials have decided to forego the typical gold jacket and have opted for a clean white jacket to replace the one he lost.

Thanks C.S. and welcome to the thread!
sports, not surprised at all about Bell getting Franchised Tag. It looks like he will sit out all camp again and start playing in game 1, just like last year. Really thought that the Steelers would make a pitch for Dion Lewis since he played at Pitt, and would fit in. People are suggesting trading Bell to the Browns for their #1 overall pick, then draft Barkley. Bell would have to sign the Tag first and he won't. He is an incredible talent, but has very little brain cells.

Steelers signing Morgan Burnett to replace Mike Mitchell. Nothing special so its a wait and see. I think we still target another safety within our first 3 draft picks.

He's a little long in the tooth, but I think that Burnett will be an upgrade over Mitchell. They also signed well-traveled ILB Jon Bostic from Indy. He played college ball at Florida with Pouncey, Gilbert, and Haden. I totally agree that safety and LB will be high draft targets. Seems that Pittsburgh and NE both like Boise State LB Vander Esch for their first pick of the draft. I might be in the minority, but I really hope that they can snag Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph as well. He is built just like Ben and can play. They also like his favorite WR target Washington too.

There's no predicting Pats draft day selections. Never fails whenever anyone thinks they know where the Pats are going they do something unexpected. Esch is a guy at a position both teams have needs. And I too like Randolf. With all the BB draft day trades down for more later round picks I'm usually disappointed on draft day. As a fan I get excited by the studs at the top. Not so much the 3rd and 4th round. So now he'll prolly move up

While you guys may like some guy named Randolph (Randolf), I’m betting Mason Rudolph would be the better option 😉

Hey, I spelled it right Buzz! Steelers are having individual meetings with local Pitt Panthers, Ryan O'Neil (an athletic OL), and Quadree Henderson, who I feel would be a huge asset in the return game. Something that Pittsburgh hasn't had excitement since Rod Woodson. (not counting AB, who is way more valuable just concentrating on WR)

The Steelers resigned DL Dan McCullers, why? I don't know...
Looked further into Rudolph's college stats at Oklahoma State. Played in the same conference as Landry Jones (Oklahoma). Had 3,000 less passing yards, and 31 less career TD passes. Now, he had half the amount on INT's (26 to 52 for Jones). Their career passing pct is equal, which is very important. Plus Mason is 1 inch taller and 10 lbs heavier. I think that he is an upgrade worth getting.

Yeah Dice...I’m with ya on McCullers. That’s dead weight and a lot of it.
