Usually when a team appears in a World Series, the following season is difficult.

So far, the Dodgers are 1-4 against the lowly Miami Marlins this season. That is a shameful record, no matter how many injuries the Dodgers have.

At this point, this team is unwatchable. I can't remember the last time I said that.

As bad as this team has been so far in 2018, they are only 3 1/2 games out of first place in the NL Central.

The Dodgers place Clayton Kershaw on the DL because he suffers from back pain.

It will be interesting to see if Kershaw opts out at the end of the season. I can't imagine any team taking a big money risk on him and his fragile back. If he does opt out, as much as I like Kershaw, I believe it would be foolish of the Dodgers to throw big money at him to stay.

Hmm, maybe, just maybe, the Dodgers are finally getting their act together. 14-4 since May 17. Keep it going Dodgers!

Really strange how much they are struggling - Although it looks like they have put together some solid baseball lately taking 3 from the Nats in WSH towards the end of May and winning 4 in a row until last night?
Good choice by LAD to not bring back Darvish...

Good choice by LAD to not bring back Darvish... No kidding! I bet the Cubbies have a huge case of buyers remorse about now.

Dodgers have climbed over the .500 mark and back into the NL West race. Dodgers are 1 1/2 games out of 1st place as of this morning.

The Dodgers have been swinging a hot bat of late. I really believe if some of the starters can come back healthy, they will give Arizona a run for their money.

The Diamondbacks also have some key players who are injured. The difference between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks and what will likely be the difference as to who wins the division is that the Dodgers have more minor league depth, and have the ability to replace injured players with players from their deep farm system.

The Dodgers lead Arizona by percentage points. They have gone 31-13 since starting out 16-26. Muncy is the surprise of the year so far. Keep it up!
