Have many of the pictured flowers in my gardens. Did not know that many flowers are edible. Will look great on top of a salad.
Thanks!

My Mother always floured and fried the 'false' pumpkin blossoms. They were delicious! I have not thought about this in years nor have I ever heard of eating other flowers. Thank you for the memories and the information link.

I can remember when we served fried mushrooms at a community party and when those attending complained about running out of fried mushrooms we fried up dandelion flowers. We had to burn the first batch to figure out how long to cook them, but when done, they looked like tender shredded chicken inside and everyone loved them. Fortunately, we had some growing in a pot away from the lawn-care folks so they were "clean" to eat.
