The Bolts put a thumping on Boston 4 zip. Now tied in points. Not so fast Boston.

Yeah Tampa hadn't beat the Bruins all year and as Cassidy said they wanted to prove they could.
They're tied with a game in hand. Still not a bad position with guys getting back from injury.

Bruins just aren't matching the intensity of teams fighting for position. Came out very slow again before the picked it up. Getting down 2-0 early so often this year will not be a good prescription for playoff hockey... which the teams they've played recently... are playing now.

Do you rest guys for the playoffs or do you go all in to get the top seed? I say all in.

Very disappointing end to the reg season. I could chock it up to the number of injuries but they played pretty well despite them the whole year only to kind of tank down the stretch. Not sure when the playoffs start. Haven't looked. Hopefully they get a few days off to rest. Starting every game down 0-1 and 0-2 is a recipe for disaster against heightened competition.

Agreed. Last night was an example of too little, too late. If they wanted to really go for it, they needed to play the way they did in the third in the first period. They still made a lot of unforced errors, they didn't look like they are ready to play a Toronto team in the first round. I'm afraid the Celtics and Bruins are both going to have issues in the playoffs now. The Bruins should have had a #1 seed locked up, and I know they are banged up, but in a bit better shape than the Celtics are. I'm much less hopeful as a #2 seed, especially against a team like Toronto that is great in the first period. And that game last night was surely against a very good team, but one that isn't even in the playoffs. Sigh...

Are the Leafs still scarred from their last playoff collapse against Boston? They are young and apparently have a legit chance at going to the SCF's.

I think the Leafs are legit but they're scarred from a history of defeat in general not necessarily against the B's. The pressure to win in Toronto is huge.
The B's have played extremely well from behind this year. If they continue to play that way they will surely be out quickly. Toronto has a LOT of scorers. They're young and fast as well.
Having said that... if they get out to an early 2 goal lead in a crucial game and the B's score a couple late they could fold like a cheap suit.

If the B's start the next one up 2-0 in the first the Leafs may get booed right out of Canada.
Speaking of Canada has anyone seen Canadiens? Anyone a friend of his on the pace we shall not mention? They still allow personal messaging don't they? I don't think I ever friended him.

Miss Canadiens. But happy that Soccer Mom isn't on here, especially with TB playing and looking good.

Don't miss Roteque one bit. Yes, shocked that Canadiens didn't move to this site. He would be all over the Laughs early demise.

Time to fellowship, share information, prayer requests...general Christian information. MM - logged on but praying about whether this is the right place for me. Will continue with GB until it ends.

Well they didn't fold. I thought they might when the B's tied it at 2 but they were pretty much left it all on the ice. Give them credit.
The B's can play better. They were good in spurts but the Leafs were faster and more motivated last night. Kudo's

Rask held up last night. So often I've been left feeling like the team needed him more in the playoffs. He was in control last night.
