I've noticed with the last few releases, that even when I'm at the station, at the pump, the iOS app seems to want to report me as far away as 1/10 of a mile. When checking my maps app, it shows I am at the pumps. But the gas app shows me farther away.
Just curious. Prices still post.

Given some of the Buc-ee's stations in Texas, they have a line of pumps that's 1/10ths of a mile long. I think the iOS version keys off of the street address. As to being close to the pumps, the GasBuddy app has to cope with passengers in vehicles that are going at a high rate of speed.

I have noticed it but just got used to going to home button, and clicking find gas close to you. That gets me aligned usually.

I was parked right at the pumps of a station that I post prices at and it showed me to be nearly 10 miles away once. I thought maybe it could have been due to some cell tower outages.

Now they want you to activate bluetooth for greater location accuracy. I don't use bluetooth, so why bother. As long as I'm at the pump and can report prices, no worries. BTW, the government controls the satellites and can mess with the accuracy if they want.
