Starting to see some hockey talk, so why not brighten up with the back to back Cup winning Pens talk. They are poised to 3 peat. Have to work on some defensive issues, but with a couple injured players returning, they may be able to outscore any opponent.

Terrible game against a terrible team. The Pens have been awful on the road lately and their PK is like 45% in their last 5 road contests.

What an incredible OT GWG by Sid. Simply the best.

Wassup Blitz! How about this, should the Pens sweep this weekend, they will only be 1 point out of first place. Let's do it!

Pens clinch another playoff berth. 12 years in a row, which is the longest in the league...by far.

Phil the Thrill's ironman streak could be in jeopardy. He suffered an undisclosed injury last night against Montreal and is questionable tonight. Phil has played in 689 consecutive games, and is the current NHL ironman.
If he wants to play, I'd say move him down to the 4th line to get reduced minutes.

Well he played and was pretty much a non factor. Grabaur was unbelievable, but I think that the Caps will play Holtby in the playoffs.

Phil Kessel is the best OT hockey player in the league. Fires a missile on The Bob and he couldn't handle it. Pens win and clinch 2nd place in the division. Home ice for at least one round.

Casey DeSmith notches his first career shutout as the Pens clinch home ice (for at least the first round of the playoffs). The Pens go in the playoffs for the 12th year in a row, longest streak in all of sports.

Pens open up the 2018 playoffs with their old foe, the Philthies. Philly hasn't beaten Pittsburgh in the playoffs in 6 years. They haven't had a decent goaltender since Bernie Parent. That will be their downfall, along with their poor PK against the Pens vaunted PP, which is clicking over 26% for the season.

Man that was a beat down of epic proportions.

Looks like they still don't have a decent goaltender. The Cryers were horrendous as a whole, but their HOV-lane goaltending was the worst.
Speaking of goaltending, how about ex-Pen MAF pitching a shutout in the Knights' first ever playoff win?

Matt Murray is on a playoff streak of epic proportions (3 straight shut outs). A few more periods and he will have a record.
The Pens have outscored Philly 27-11 in 5 games this year. They could put Elliott and Mrazek in at the same time and would still stink up the joint. Sid was awesome, but his linemates Rust and Guentzel are big time players. Jake has 25 points in 26 playoff games.
