Not as bad as the 7-0 beat down the Pens put on the Flyers in the 1st game.

Take away and empty net goal and a goal that went off Letang, not so bad. Elliott had the bounces and the pipes to thank for the win. The Pens won twice in Philly this year already. Time to get a few more.

Nice going. Looks like you won't have to worry about the choking Craps this time after getting past the Cryers.
Meanwhile, MAF has a 0.84 GAA and made 96 saves out of 99 shots, powering Vegas to a 3-0 lead.

Another beat down.
MAF and the Knights are on a dream season, but I really think that Nashville can derail them. Matt Murray's stats after a loss in 9-1, 1.52 GAA, and a .929 Save Pct. We'll keep him. As far as the Craps, Trotz might be packing his bags soon. Their goaltender situation isn't too Gruby after that 2 game failure.

Didn't know where to put this but Pitt's own Bruno Sammartino the greatest WWE wrestling champ in history died yesterday. I think he won his first championship when I was 8. Hard to believe he was only 82 when he died. Seems like so long ago he was still wrestling.

I watched him too (with my father of course) EVERY Saturday night. He was a great person. Grew up in the same neighborhood as Andy Warhol and Dan Marino.
Time to close out this series tomorrow afternoon. Go Pens!!!

Not pretty, but Pens finally dispose for the Cryers. Key was killing that 5-on-3 early in the 3rd.
They should beat either the BJ's or Caps in the next round. But their D needs major tightening if they want to go back to the Finals.
And once again, Philthy fans showing their true colors by throwing beer cans and other stuff on the ice! They should ban alcohol sales at their sporting events until these jackasses learn how to behave!
Stay classy, Philly. Too late!

I look at it another way C.S. Instead of playing "playoff" defense, the Pens MO for this years tourny seems to outscore their opponent. Are averaging almost 5 goals a game. They put up 8 in the clincher WITHOUT Malkin. In game 1, they scored 7 and Kessel was scoreless. Murray is 10-1 after a loss. Jake Guentzel and Bryan Rust are money players in the playoffs. Holtby is spooked by Pittsburgh. Guaranteed that Grubaur will see some time before this series is over.
The Pens were 5-0 in Philly this year. Allowed zero PPG's, while killing off 22 of them.

Guentzel was an absolute beast in Game 6.
Judging by what happened in the first 2 games vs. the BJ's, Caps are toast if they ever pull Holtby

Jake is a money player. 20 goals in 32 playoff games with 8 of them game winners. Murray played great too. The 2 goals he gave up came from a breakaway and a 2 on 1 blistering shot by Ovi. No other goalie (even MAF) stops those 2 shots.
