Storms rolling thru my area. Lost power for a brief second. I hope it doesn't go off completely. Reminds me, I better get a flashlight out and have it handy.

Hiya Blondie... everything is just fine out here in New England. The weather has been gorgeous and the birds are happy. We have to get MrG and NASH over this way. I'm trying to get back into the groove baby. It's been slow. I'm searching for a nude beach for us. I'll let you know as soon as I find one until then keep those PJs handy!!!

Yes, I agree!! Where the heck is that Nash? I haven't seen him since that 1st couple of times he popped his head in!
I heard Mr. GG is fighting a pain in the back. I will have to let him know I started this, since it seems he isn't looking!
Glad to hear you are having some good weather. The leaves are popping here like mad and with our latest sprinkles and splashes, it is really greening up!
I went for a walk the other day and before I knew it I had walked 12 miles!! All in 2 hours and 45 to 50 minutes! I was booking! Nearly had to crawl up the stairs though! Can hardly wait to get the bike out...I think the river trails are finally not flooded over and not a mud bath either! Well..at least until the next bunch of rain moves this way, maybe Friday the weather twerps are saying. There were plenty of bikes out while I was hoofing it. It still was great!
Need some new tunes to wear while riding...tested my old one and it will not work. Wouldn't know what to do if I had to listen to me huffing and puffing! I usually like to sing and ride...LOL!

Hey Jude, you know 12 miles is almost half a marathon. That's a very long distance. You did each mile in 15 minutes. Quite the accomplishment. I'm impressed. Too bad I wasn't there to give you a rubdown afterwards. Wake MrG up please. I miss my MN buddy. Love those PJs!! Later.....

Dropping down to 42 overnight tonight. I could probably use one of your fires to take the chill out of the air and get me back into my PJ's! Should be a fair day tomorrow though...it might reach 65, but kind of doubtful that we will get much sunshine. The fishing opening starts tonight at midnight central time. So in less than 15 minutes. Might see our gas prices drop down a little bit after that nonsense. I do believe they hike it up every time they think folks might head out of town to cabins and such.
I hope all is well, sweets! I might have to head someplace for the w/e. Doubtful I will make it in here.

Hiya, babycakes!
Made it thru the weekend. Had to be a tough one for you. I am sorry.
Had a little bit of see-thrus late today. hopefully, sunshine tomorrow. Helped a friend work in the yard all day Sunday. Cutting back some bushes and thinking about transplanting some lilacs to another area of the back yard. Was a good workout. I have a nice blister from raking.
Thought of you last evening when I sat close to the fire and watched a movie with pals. Some western, I forgot the title...based in the late 1800's. Military man ordered to deliver chief of some Indian tribe to his home area in Montana. Just looked up the name...Hostiles. A little disappointing...but I liked the fireplace!
Tomorrow we might have sunshine and maybe better temperatures! Any luck of finding that spot on the beach? I am getting ready!

Howdy !
Nice to see you here, Topper, hope you're doing OK.
I get up in the morning and do some exercising and have more visits to a very good physical therapist scheduled so I expect she'll give me more ideas.
They are helping a great deal along with my little regimen of weight exercises trying to improve my muscle tone and shake off some of the predicted "weight gain around the middle" I have experienced.
I'm sure eating and enjoying nice wine has nothing to do with it.
Boating season has started but I have yet to get out and it'll be nice to see the eagles as they are nesting with babies.
Come visit.
Great weather here for a few days means that I'll be busy doing more gardening and napping also but this morning will see us at the dentist.
If I bring her a nice wine she is more gentle with me.

Good morning, babycakes!
Hope you are doing swell! Was an awesome day yesterday with temps topping out in the mid to upper 80's! It sure was grand to have the sunroof open, the windows rolled down and the tunes cranked up! Got some errands to run and cleaning up the car interior (light vacuuming) and change out my cabin filter, plus I think I could take that snow brush out, (finally) today.
Then I have a dinner date with a pal to Lindey's for a steak. It's customer appreciation week which ends tonight and they are celebrating 60 years in business and supposedly have prices like 1958! link
Will see if that link works...never tried using that before!
Missed you out on the bike...If I get my chores done early, there might be a chance for another quick ride! Hang on if you can!
