I had never made it prior to the other day. Just made a mental note in ATL to find a recipe after I returned and give it a shot. Had another bowl for lunch today.
Went to TG again today. Need to get to some yardwork, such as taking down an ornamental grass bed, but it was too cold.

Loved jambalaya when I stayed in New Orleans for a month. Asked a local gal where the best chicken was and she told me her opinion/ Went there to discover every bite of the chicken was as though a tbsp of black pepper was on every bite. Way too much for me.

Never been to the Big Easy but I like the food. Though chicken peppered that way might be a bit much for me, too.
The guesser was too optimistic earlier in the week, so today's round was cancelled and I headed over to TG.

The guesser says 12-15" of snow for my area today. Most snow we'll have in years. Will deal w/it when it is over tomorrow. Think old fashioned shoveling will be the order on Sunday. At least it will not be the bitter cold. Tho can see a pile of work is in store for me.

I was wondering, as the national news just said 1 to 3 feet of snow is expected from upstate NY to Vermont. Figured that had to cover you somehow.
Too bad the blower is still stuck. Careful with your back -- might want to see if that neighbor with the tractor can help?
Calm here but fairly cold and windy. Did 2 miles on the elliptical this morning. time to start bumping that up.

Gonna try some shoveling today and more tomorrow. The temp will be in the 40's so the melt will begin right away. Tho it'll take a few days to begin. Tonight will see temps around 4°. A truly cold night.

If it's warmer, those shovelfuls will be a lot heavier, so mind the back!
Warmer today here but not quite right to play golf. Got a lot done around the house.

Did some light shoveling. Hope to get out out there and work on the drive today. It's 5° at dawn, 42° for the high. Will definitely take it easy. Back is feeling uncomfortable, tho not ripping in pain.

It's all gonna melt in a couple of weeks anyway, so definitely don't push it with your back!
My quads are on fire tonight -- walked 18 at a new to me course. Lots of distance between the greens and the next tees on many holes. Call it 6 miles. Plus a lot more hilly than expected.

Feel the same way. The snow is gonna melt very soon. Began to clear the walkway & my back began to hurt. Stopped immediately to limit the pain. Feels better this morning. May or may not get in some shoveling today.

Way to listen to your back! Mother Nature's on her way to do it!
Winds are gusting into the 40s here. Not a golf day and TG is overrun with spring break kids.
Went 2.25 on the elliptical this morning.

Rec'd a good dose of lower back pain. Have to take it easy til it feels better. The heck w/the driveway. It can melt in June, as long as I'm not hurtin. Getting rain for two days to melt the snow and freeze it at night.

It'll melt long before June. Give the back a break or it will break.
Headed to TG today and played a good virtual round. Came back and hit the elliptical for another 2.25 miles. Building back up slowly.

Did give my back a break yesterday. Do feel my back ready to make me say "uncle". Plus it is to rain right thru Friday w/the temp in the 40's. That ought to take a good chunk of it.

Hopefully the rain accomplishes a lot! Warmer temps and occasional sunshine should take it from there.
It got a little warmer today but the wind was stronger than I expected. Still went out and walked 18 holes at a hilly course. 5.5 miles.
