That's where Columbusgasprices.com and all the others except Oregon, apparently take you. Losing utilities that often would really be annoying.
Played 18 today, walking 2 miles.

After my utilities came back on, I saw the outage map. With 3 dozen outages it must have been a severe storm w/so many downed areas. Getting to be more and more often.

Were those the remnants of Debby? I know that was headed your way.
Played 18 again today, different course. Less walking, 1.5 miles.

Yes, the remnants of Debby ripped up the power and telephone lines. It took a few days to fix the many outages. Most were from downed trees. Now the calm til the next storm.

The next one is out in the Atlantic. It hammered Bermuda but it looks like other systems may keep it off the US coast, limiting the impact to rough seas. Looks like you'll be ok.
Mome pop up storms here. Mowed again today -- probably just one more time in August.

Gonna get rain from the west and rain from the latest hurricane. When those meet, it should be quite the 1, 2 punch. That's to reach here Mon right thru Thurs. And Monday also sees t-storms, just to spice things up for the start of the week.

Guess it shifted direction. Not sure it's going to dry out there in time to get all the roads fixed before winter.
I played 18 today. Rode in a cart but walked a lot of it -- 2.5 miles.

The 1, 2 punch may be on the way. Showers early AM, becoming a steady rain later in the day. Potential for heavy rainfall is the forecast. Which means a good chance of utility outages.

Hopefully outages are the worst of it and there are no more road washouts.
Got soaked here overnight but it cleared up in time for me to play 18 this morning. Less walking today, 2 miles.

Lots of thunder late afternoon. Did expect the utilities to go off. Surprised that did not happen. Just rain is expected today. No t-storms are in the forecast.

Glad to hear you didn't lose the 'lectric.
Great day here -- stayed in the 60s, mostly sunny this afternoon, but fairly breezy. I played 18 again, another 2 miles.

Not just the electric, the phone line gets downed so I'm w/o the net. Am way too used to the internet to be w/o it. I watch TV exclusively using the net for all my entertainment these days.

Same here. If the 'lectric goes down, Spectrum goes down. Even with a generator, no internet. When I had a dsl line, there was some kind of battery back up that bridged a few hours, then the internet was out.

The NH DOT has completed a 1 one lane bridge across a massive washout of the local hwy. We can use it to go south to the next town that has dozens of stores. The bridge has one lane and a light. It's temporary for two years.

So how do you get back?
Meant to note yesterday that I went to a course and just walked around looking for golf balls in some of the normal places. Have not counted them yet but I'm sure there's more than a gross. At least 2 dozen are top of the line.
