Once there's a lot of moisture, it seems to just keep recycling from puddle to storm. Conversely, when it's really dry, there's nothing for the sun to heat up and generate storms. At least that's my take from what the guessers say.

This area is in some kind of t- storm pattern for the next week w/rain most every day. That's to be the next 7 out of 9 days w/storms. Sounds normal for the month of Aug. Tho it's been an overly wet year, so far.

A tstorm popped up here a little while ago. Still rumbling to the north and east. A large system is headed toward the area but with sundown approaching in minutes, it should dissipate before it gets here.

This area is definitely in a t-storm pattern. Tho it is forecast to be sunny all day then back to t- storms tomorrow thru Tues. They are not developing above the mtns. The storms are coming here from the west and are getting more strength from the heat of the day. Still have road washouts to repair.

The extended wet weather has to be putting the repairs from the washouts behind. An early winter would not be good.
Had another pop up here today that dropped a decent amount of rain. I need to mow again. Tomorrow may work out.

Towns have hired contractors to repair roads. They sure are spending the taxpayers money. Some repairs will be concrete instead of gravel. No need to fix washouts over and over. We're in hill and mtn country.

Good that they are going for a more permanent fix. It's not just the duplicative cost to the taxpayers -- the road is there for a reason.
Played 18 today. It was really hot so I rode more than normal in the cart.

Many roads that get one from town to town remain washed out. What a huge mess in all towns. It will all be repaired in the course of time. Getting to other towns can take 3x longer w/the detours.

Going to be a huge pain for a while if you are in one of the towns where the road hasn't been repaired or need to go to one frequently.
Played 18 this morning. Strong front 9, walked a good bit. Wilted on the back.

The NH DOT is deciding on several wash- outs to pour many yards of concrete. As the decision goes thru the chain of com- mand, weeks are marching on as some hwys can not be driven on.

G'vment at it's finest. We're seeing what they can do if they want to with the new Intel project. They need infrastructure right now and they're getting it done 3x, maybe even faster than what you'd have thought possible. It's fully funded and prioritized. I've never seen ODOT accomplish so much so fast.
I mowed today and noticed that one of my wild cherry trees is loaded. They look fairly ripe so I'll have to harvest them tomorrow.
On another note, I think you have stopped activity over at GB. Still, you may find the posts in this thread interesting: gbo.freeforums.net/thread/3914/main-gas-buddy-page

Haven't posted or cared about the GB site since they got rid of all my pix & removed the forums. It was around Mar of 2018, nearly 6½ y/a.

Nice stats !
A lot of people felt that way. The old GB is about gone. They're saying that Oregon is the last site left in that thread I linked.
I walked 9 this morning -- 2.5 miles.

NHgasprices.com redirects me to GasBuddy. Glad to have given up GB 6½ y/a Severe t-storms knocked out the utilities. 11 hrs this time. Getting to be way too common.
