I think seat warmers might be more of a standard item on cars with leather seats.

Geezer, where do you live? Waterford, Noo Yawk, goldie. We're at the eastern terminus of the Erie Canal.
Low bridge! Everybody down!

geezer, Kind of ironic that we're on the western end of that route.

Well then, DG. If I ever win the PowerBall and buy a yacht, I'll have the crew head it west on the Erie Canal, out into those big lakes, and stop by to see you.

Geezer, I see, it gets very cold up your way, too.

geezer, If you get a boat, plan your visit for unpredictable Lake Superior. July and August are nice in Duluth...about the only months that are somewhat warmish. That probably explains why the whole state hasn't moved up there.

To be truthful, if I had a big boat I'd more likely go south. Screw cold. I've had a lifetime of it and I wouldn't miss it. Let's see....jump on that boat in September and head for the southern hemisphere until April, then come back north.

Okay, you're all invited, but first I have to become independently wealthy to finance the trip. Don't hold your breath.
In the meantime, set 'em up, barkeep.

Our 2016 Hyundai Tucson is the first car I've ever had with leather. It's a lot better in the hot weather than I thought it would be. The leather has hundreds of little holes punched in it and we can push a button to force air through them. We haven't used that feature more than once or twice, though.
Another round, barkeep.

I don't care for the leather seats.
You would think with how much vehicles cost that you would have a choice of interior color and cloth seats if you want.

It all comes down to the packages they offer. On some, if you want, let's say, dual zone A/C, you have to get the package that has leather seats, or the technology package, etc. Long gone are the days when you could special order from the factory and get a vehicle with everything the way you want it.

On a lot of vehicles now leather seats are standard and interiors only come in gray with black carpet. Obviously the people who make the decisions don't live where there is road salt. lol
