Seventy-four (74) years ago today, thousands of brave men lost their lives and many thousand more were injured.
Among the casualties were many men from the US, Canada, the British Empire, and other nationalities. Despite the losses, the BATTLE was considered a major victory. Let's remember what these men did and honor those few who are still with us.
