1. Open Google Photos 2. Select photo (click check mark, NOT the whole photo) 3. Click Share icon on blue bar; sharing box opens 4. Click Get link icon at bottom of box; "New shared album" box opens with the URL highlighted. 5. Copy URL to clipboard 6. In GBO Forum, begin composing post 7. Click Picture Frame icon 8. Paste URL into Image URL field 9. Complete Alt Text for blind 10. Click Insert Image icon to insert the image call into the post: [img src="https://photos.app.goo.gl/ou6gcvEBDv71LFa3A" alt="Overall view of clip pin"] When the post displays, the following is seen: No photo! Only the Alt Text shows.

You can't copy the address from the browser's address bar, the share area, the album box, or anywhere else. You must copy the actual image addy. Here is a random image from my own google photos.

When researching this question, I discovered I have a Google photo online account? huh? Where did this come from? And all my phone pics going back years are on it? This is why Google can't be trusted. They are sneaks.
