Thanks. What I meant was that I updated to a higher number of OS X El Capitan (version 10.11.6) but not yet upgraded to High Sierra. I use Firefox, as I have done for many years.
It just seems strange that I've restarted both the computer and the browser since updating them, and this just happened today.

I'm trying to move a bunch of "voice memo" recordings off of my iPod Nano into my iTunes library to free up memory on the iPod, but it's not working. I don't like to upgrade/update iTunes b/c it seems that they add capabilities I'm not interested in and make it harder for me to do the simple things I want to do and have done before. Like this. I've done it in the past, but this is a newer (but not newest) version of iTunes. It's frustrating. It said to drag it into the playlist (I created a new one), but it doesn't drop in.
I just thought of something -- I wonder if I have to do them one at a time? I tried it in a block. There are a many, so that will be a chore, but at least I could do it. Can't try it now, though. If anyone has any other ideas or suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.

Does anyone here have computer knowledge that can help me? I am using an iMac 10.11.6 that can't be updated to a newer OS. Because of that, until I get a new computer, I can't update browsers and am using old versions of Safari and Firefox. Both have problems and are unstable, but enable me to get things done. Last week I had a bad browser crash and lost many open windows and tabs. I spent a lot of time trying to recover some of it. But the worst thing is that I have not been able to access my Hotmail inbox in almost a week now. I've logged in and out of Outlook and tried everything I can think of. Instead of going to my regular inbox it goes to an old search I did, and it is in a different format. This has happened before, but I was always able to use the back arrow to go back to a page that opens correctly. But after the browser crash, I don't have those old pages available anymore. I've tried everything I can think of. The Microsoft help page didn't help. Much of what is listed in a search is geared to Windows and Microsoft operating system, but I am on an iMac. This is what I get in the URL box: outlook.live.com/mail/0/inbox. Does anybody with more computer knowledge than I do have any suggestions? Perhaps some code that might help? Thanks. [/quote] When it opens to that incorrect inbox page, and I click on "inbox" it goes to that same page. I just looked in the junk mail box (in that same unusual format) there is an email that says: Re: Account Issue - Confirmation needed #9126398332 Account On-Hold [ehpmwxeqnhnhqgnxepmfujfeizfvvide@kememambu.intersectworld.com] Links and active content have been disabled in this message. To restore them, click the Not Junk button, or move this message to the Inbox folder. Sent: Saturday, February 24, 2024 3:04 PM To: re-confirm@unauthorized.sign.app Statement Result: Complete your information. ~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't want to click on something that I don't know if it is real or not. This is getting more serious by the day!

Thanks Scout. I thought that was just what I needed, until I tried it, multiple times, and it didn't work. Maybe the wrong combo of username and password? I initially tried it with my Hotmail address and password, then my computer name and password, etc. I haven't tried the other link yet. I haven't used my Mac Mail in quite some time. I had a mail only account through a local internet provider, but I wasn't using it and didn't pay for it last year. Wondering if I need to have an active email account working in Mac Mail for it to work. I wouldn't think so, but . . . Maybe my Mac and its MacMail are too old? Or? When I clicked on "Add Account" five suggested accounts came up, 4 I've heard of and another I haven't: "EX Exchange". No Hotmail or Outlook, so I clicked on "Other". As I was typing this just now, I thought to try Exchange instead of other, since it is the logo is similar design and the same color blue and something happened. Not sure where to go from here, as my Hotmail account is huge and I'll have to look around to figure out if I can access the inbox. At least it looks promising so far. Thanks
