Taking my newly repaired off road bike for a ride yesterday afternoon in fabulous weather and feeling good.
Mowing the lawn and learning I wasn't going to have to do it twice since it was so long after 3 weeks without mowing.
Having the best time on Saturday at the Twin Cities Tour de Cure event in sunny weather and great temps and connecting with so many people and seemed like everyone had a great time. We got to ride thru one puddle that was about a block long and ended up about a foot deep. We pretended we were kids and just went on through it!

Getting home yesterday and it was suggested we go out for dinner since it was late and to celebrate wife's first day at a new job.
First visit to the new cardiologist went very well and dr was very attentive and had lots of ideas and in line with all the other doctors were thinking about how to handle my situations.
25 mile ride home in 79F temps and tail winds and partly cloudy.

"A vegetable/fruit popsicle."?
Going back to my "usual" inexpensive red wine, "Double Dog Dare" for $3.49 a bottle, after finally using up the really, really good MOTTO red wine from Trader Joe's. It only cost $3.99 a bottle but I've seen it on the internet for $10-17. But their special purchases are only as long as the supply lasts, then they're gone. Glad I bought the cases that I did. Wish I had more. The Double Dog Dare is not as good as the MOTTO, but is still better than most wines at that low price point.

My last day of visiting with a lady who has been evicted from here for complaining about her neighbor. Then arguing with her . I lived next to a neighbor who picked and picked at me and l moved a few doors down to get away from her. they didn't evict her but the next person who moved in also got picked on and finally they did evict her. It took a lot more than here, but then this lady who was evicted had also sued the complex, and in my own opinion l believe THAT is why they evicted her and not the other lady.
So l enjoyed my visits with her especially lately and will miss her.

A slice of Key Lime pie and then giving the rest to a friend. It is very rich.

Being able to mountain bike with my brother and two friends yesterday. I haven't seen my friends for a long time (months) and it was good to see them and ride with them. And, this was the first time riding with my brother since he had his hip replaced 9 weeks ago. And, I felt good during the ride, except for one strange experience I felt and will be watching to see if this happens again.
oh, and seeing a bear while driving on the highway and stopping and watching him saunter across the road. I think he looked both ways before crossing.

So the bear crossing doesn't count as a strange experience???LOL
I enjoyed my watermelon neighbor gave me.

I enjoyed my bike ride all the way home yesterday on a nice day.
tru, no, that wasn't my strange experience, seeing a bear. That was a cool experience. The strange was I felt weird while biking. The way I described it to Lisa she said it is a panic attack, but I don't think I would be panicking during a fun group ride. I will stay aware and try to nail down the symptoms more, if it happens again. Kind of a wave thru my body. But, I think there was more too it than that.
Also, we talked about our cruise next May, and saved a bunch more money on more free deals they are offering.

Getting the oil changed in the car, and vacuuming the car and seeing how excited Lisa was when I told her. I also filled the gas tank, so she is all ready for work today. I didn't wash the car, as it was a rainy Sunday.
