A few ladies joining me on my porch for popsicles and talk of computers and cell phones etc. Me in my rollers and one lady n her night gown but we didn't care, an impromptu moment to enjoy each other was enjoyed.

Biking all the way home 23 miles yesterday. Unfortunately 2 miles out, a storm cell appeared and started to pour. But, after about 10 minutes, it lightened up and I headed back out. It rained until 5 miles out, and several times pretty hard, but my insulin pump is waterproof, and so is my phone, and my panniers have a rain cover, so I was all good. Smiled every mile!

I enjoyed a church garden's steamed fresh green beans. I love that churches at least some, grow veggies and give them away.

Went out and mowed half the year in the heat. I was a puddle. And, since I was having so much fun, I pulled a bunch of weeds, got nettles in my hands, and trimmed a bunch of branches from one tree that had been hanging low. I did good. This am tho while biking I realized there are still a nettle or two in my palms, as I felt the pain in my hands while riding.
