Being with my friend who has had no place to move to when month ends and hearing her get a call which turned her life around with new job and home. Life is good.

The following is facetious, as l did not enjoy it at all....

Quoted from another site...Hey ever wonder why so many of these large shooting thingies take place in so called gun free zones?
Texas is far from gun free and more were killed there than in CA. Ohio also allows gun carry in hiding.
When will it end? one minute to kill 9 people and in TX it was said the police were on site in a minute also. But took a bit longer to locate the young man who had shot himself after killing 20.

Enjoyed a good weekend and then getting home Sunday and went mtn biking with two friends and hanging out with them, and a sister of one of them, and then going grocery shopping with the Mrs.

This one stand at the Farmer's market which had about 10 different plums. I got on one end and took one or two of each kind including a prune plum l hadn't seen in years. Lovely. REds yellows greens and purples

The Wed Night Group ride was larger than normal, so that was sweet, and there were 4 or 5 riders there that it was either their first or 2nd time at this trail. Everyone had a great time, and the two first time to the trail riders gave myself and another guy huge thanks and props and keeping them aware of the trail and helping them along.

Being invited to join my neighbor on the porch for a popsicle. It was 89 degrees and she asked "is it too hot to ?" and l replied "no l will take off my sweater".

Well, it was Thursday evening, but I forgot to write it. Went to a political fundraiser for my state rep. It was a beautiful backyard garden party with perfect weather, good food and interesting conversation. The only problem was that I had to stand to talk to people, and that was very hard on my back.

I enjoyed my son picking me up and taking me to look over the town of Roseville. Drove me all around.

I rested up from my trip and did some organizing. Took food items from walk in closet and moved to bedroom shelving. But mostly rested.

Yesterday we enjoyed a scenic trip back from Acadia National Park in Maine through Scenic Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont on our way back to Lake George New York.

Talking to a few neighbors and in discussing our health issues and others around us, lt was pointed out how fortunate l am in that having reached my age with out many of the serious illnesses affecting me like diabetes and osteoporosis. Serious surgeries or fall s that broke hips etc. I am so grateful.
