Winning free tickets on the spur of the moment and going with a friend to see a really funny and good play at a local theatre.

That's a wonderful treat. I don't recall winning anything like that.
But yesterday l enjoyed a bit of energy and got some things done and that always makes me feel better emotionally if not physically.

shopping at Tj's ... love that store. BTW when did they stop wearing Hawaiian shirts? Our store has redone all the refrigerated items too. I was totally lost, but l see the logic. The salad section always had people browsing and holding up the line, and they moved it further away from the entrance. Makes sense.

I enjoyed watching the lady trying to balance on a bike in Amsterdam, where l understood it was main transportation. Looked like one took any bike from any rack and rode it ..?
Her husband asked if she wanted training wheels. LOL

Finding out that the gift card we were given for participating in a focus group was upgraded to $100 from $85. Several of us remembered that we were told the pay would be $100, yet the cards were for only $85. Thankfully another group participant caught the discrepancy while several of us were still there. I hadn't seen where the amount was noted. When I got home I found the email with an attached letter that specified the pay was $100, and I sent it to the company. They upgraded our debit cards to $100. It was easy doing it that way, but I still would have preferred a check (as they used to pay) to a debit card. Having a debit card makes it feel like a gift instead of money earned, and I can then "justify" using it for splurges instead of necessities, and I can't use it on necessities such as association fees or health insurance. But it's still a lot better than nothing at all!

I got a phone call that said something about focus group and earn money, but it was so garbled l didn't get the full gist and didn't trust calling the number left. Thought it might be a pay big fees per minute to call ..
I didn't enjoy yesterday much.. but thinking about it I did get my steam mop to work again, and that's a good thing.
