Biking all the way home yesterday for 32 miles and only sprinkled on a few times, and the new insulin pump feature worked great.

Tru, this was a local market research company that I've been signed up with for a very long time, but have only gotten to be in a group one other time, quite a few years ago. Re returning phone calls, you can look up the prefix to see if it's a toll-free one. There are quite a few more now than just "800" . You can also google/search the number to see what comes up. There are some sites where people report bad calls and sites that tell you who might own the number. My cell phone has been getting a lot of junk calls, so I've been doing that a lot. But I understand it might not be worth the effort.
The company I'm signed up with has an office in S.F. but I assume that's too far for you to go. If you're interested, though, I can give you their information. Or maybe your son would want to sign up with them. You never know what demographic they are looking for.
I enjoyed both times in their focus groups. Of course the money was great for two hours or less work. They served food (good) and I like having a forum to voice my opinions. You've probably already figured that one out.
There's also a company here that does market research for food companies. I used to participate in a lot of their taste tests, but hadn't in a long time until this summer when one came up for me. I don't think they're as interested in my age group. It doesn't pay as much as a focus group, but still a good deal for what's involved. IF you're interested in trying for any of this look up "Market Research" in your area. I don't know anything about ones that might be totally by phone or online. I'd be more skeptical of that too.
Oops, hope I didn't write too much for this forum.

Hanging out with Lisa and a friend, up north, watching football, instead of hurrying home. Relax.

I enjoyed being outdoors, waiting for washer and dryer, when l noticed the sudden change in the sky. It went from blue to overcast so quickly that l noticed it and was amazed that the blue was so completely gone. Where a few small white clouds were changed to all white sky.

Making my seafood lasagna recipe yesterday with Lisa and she didn't think it was that complicated and we should make it more often. It was good, but it wasn't 'set' at the end. I am guessing leftovers tonite will look like lasagna should look, instead of last night it all just fell flat.

Making food for the potluck today. I was actually invited to sit with someone. Remember when l started going and complained that people would say, "You can't sit here, l am saving it for ..."..
