Sagrada Familia (Holy Family) - Catholic basilica in Barcelona, Spain; designed by Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926). It is considered one of the most innovative church designs. Construction was about 25% done at the time of Gaudi's death. In 1936 during the Spanish Civil War the original design drawings and models were partially destroyed resulting in a 16 year delay while the plans were reconstructed from the remaining fragments. In November 2010, Pope Benedict XVI consecrated the basilica, and it is a functioning church. Target completion in now 2026. The video depicts the remaining construction.
