I'm sure many here speak multiple languages, however they haven't found, or haven't replied to this topic.
Most in my family and my girlfriend's family are fluent in English and Russian.
My daughters are fluent in English, Russian, French and speak some Spanish.
My oldest daughter speaks English, Russian, French, German, Sign Language and she's the most fluent Spanish speaker in the family.
My ex wife speaks English, Russian, French, German and Spanish as well as some Mandarin.
My girlfriend is fluent in English, Russian, French and Spanish.
My girlfriend's daughters speak English, Russian, French and some Spanish.
My housekeeper and her daughters speak English, Russian and French.
My girlfriend's mother speaks English, Russian, French and German and was also a language teacher like 2 of her daughters.

Cool, thanxs for your answer. It's interesting how roots and or locations make people command more than one language fluently, I understad clearly Italian and French but to speak it would be difficult, but If dropped off and left alone in the Greece countryside in 6 months I would be doinn well communicating with the locals without a serious hitch.
The Europeans do really well..we Have a Niece That moved to Italy when very young and she speaks very well French, Spanish, German, Swiss and English.
More power to those that can assimilate other tongues !!!

My current languages: English, Vietnamese, Italian, French, Latin American Spanish, and Portuguese -- two at native level, two proficiently, and two at beginner level. Can follow Mass and read monument engravings in Latin.
My past languages: Sanskrit, Burmese, Greek, and Castilian Spanish. Lost them all due to a lack of use.
On my language bucket list: German, Dutch, and Flemish.

Let's get this topic going again!
Besides English, I learned German when I was stationed in Germany during the Cold War, achieving a "1:1" proficiency in German according to DoD standards, and able to make basic conversation. How much of that I remember is anyone's guess.
I did learn an all-important tourist phrase "Do you speak English?" in French, Spanish, Italian, Russian and (for a trip to Israel) Hebrew. The last is tricky, as Hebrew has gendered second-person pronouns, so the phrase is different depending on whether you are asking a man or a woman.
