Are you ready?
We have used the same accountant since our workings years, the last 15 yrs,and he keeps charging us hefty amounts, when we no longer (now retired) have hardly anything to declare.
Today we have an Appmnt with a different CPA, and we are waiting to see if the charges can be mitigated somewhat, since our finances are less and less complicated than in the years of income and investments are long gone.
We'll know by tonite if things went better with a new face. We surely hope so..
But as always we will be filling way before the deadline set by the IRS.

Getting a grand back, once the traffic slows down filing and amendment for 2017 that will give us an addittional $350.00. The last/previous CPA made a ~misnake~ and we will get some xtra ca$h for that.
And we paid LESS to have the paperwork done, much less than even a year ago

They called me for one paper that mistakenly was given to us with our docs, stopped by (Just one ml from us) right after lunch to drop it off.
