Maybe this transposed table is easier to follow. I put Monday first because that is the start of the Gas Buddy week.

My Royal Reviewer disappeared today, and I should have credit for 2 of 3. Do you think they removed it (maybe because they were getting too many abusive or irrelevant entries for the points), or that it was only kept open to those who started on Day 1 and kept at it?

I actually submitted the following ticket shortly after I wrote that:
Less than an hour and a half later, I got this response:
I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the response, considering they're very busy right now (I have a station change ticket that's about three weeks old). Also, I was pleasantly surprised that they had chosen quality over the numbers game, so I tried to give them a bit of encouragement with this:
Perhaps they've seen the light and are starting to turn a corner? Let's hope so!

I was about to write to GB about the Royal Reviewer when I came across this topic.
Thanks!

The Royal Reviewer was a not so good choice for GasBuddy as you had to do an ever-increasing number of reviews to reach the next level. It appeared it would get to the point you would have to do a ridiculous amount of reviews and unless you're a professional driver traveling throughout the country you could not realistically give Fair reviews for the stations. Most Gas Buddies don't go to hundreds of different gas stations on a normal basis.
That said, they certainly could have added the information that they provided to MadFueler above in the Challenge area of the app to let all the Gas Buddies know what was going on. So their communication really has not improved......

I agree with Zippy452. I wrote to GB about this as I got a very rude message on my phone when I tried to put in a review on Wednesday, I believe. I was told, "It is too late". When I clicked on the icon for the rating challenge, as I did not have a clue as to why my rating was too late. it stated, "Only one rating per station per week". Who keeps a log as to when and where you were at a particular station? Geez, at least I post at a station and I do not put in wrong pricing. I have never gotten a response from that site and it would have been 7 years in September that I have been a member.
From now on, I will post only those price grades that are asked for in the challenges and not every price listed at the pump. I am done with that. Have fun.

My take on the challenge:
It looks like GasBuddy started the challenge with no limit for each day until just before they cut it off. At level 5, as I remember it, reporting 20 reviews over a 20 day period, one GasBuddy got to level 11 before the challenge ended, stating that he would have to report 50 reviews, which would be over a 50 day period. To go to 20 levels would be very laborious task over many months for hundreds of reviews. All to mine convenience store data for points for us and $$$ for GasBuddy!

Perhaps everyone had a different version of that rating challenge. The first level was post 3 ratings (no limit per day). The second level, for me, was to post 4 ratings (maximum 1 per day). Never bot to finish that level. Cut off.
Do not care. Would not do another rating challenge like that even if I was paid to do it. Definitely not for me.

There is more discussion in this thread: Special ChallengesLet's try to keep this discussion thread for the forecast posts so people don't have to page too far to get to next month's post

What Gas Buddy should do is warn the people who post inadequate reviews, just as they should warn those who post "K" or just a period or who post the same thing five times in a row on the same topic. What I do is just hit the "ignore" button for those space wasters.

msienkiewicz - Didn't find that thread - but then again, I looked under "GasBuddy" instead of "Micellaneous." Silly me.
Suzzoom - That would require effort on their part, and a return to their roots. While I have a little hope, I don't have that much faith.

I didn't expect that people knew about that thread, that's why I posted it. I don't remember how I found it or whether someone directed me to it. There used to be monthly challenge posts by another member on that thread but they have been removed, hence my starting this one because I thought it would be useful. Perhaps there should be another discussion thread in the Gas Buddy section about challenges.
On the other hand I could start a new discussion thread every month with the forecast post and it would stay at the top where people could find it and discussion on topic du jour could continue unhindered below...
