Anyone still use stovetop pressure cookers, or has everyone migrated to insta pots?

I think the same, they work fine. Just wondering if people thought insta pots are so much more convenient compared to a regular pressure cooker that it's not worth keeping regular pressure cookers around anymore.
I still use my regular pressure cooker...still quite useful!

They are really great kitchen helpers. So many foods need the heat produced inside these babies !!!

Used the pressure cooker (Presto - a wedding gift) for the first time in a long time, this past weekend. Cooked pinto beans. Too many beans, not enough liquid, and cooked for too long. "Burned" about a cup or two, but was able to sift through the good ones and blend them into a good consistency. Not tossing everything when some food surgery will salvage some flavor. * We use the slow cooker more. Pork mainly. Could do some soup, although we haven't tried yet. * Regards.

They are really an important part of the Kitchen to this Day, specially for Us who grew Up seeing their Uses at Home.

So, what's the deal with an Instant Pot? * What makes it so special? * Cooking modes? Timing? Energy efficiency? * Haven't even read about them. * Apparently, they're very useful? * Regards.

I used the Pressure Cooker couple of days ago for Steaming the Fresh Mussels I got at Whole Foods, Just about the ONLY Food I get there, actually we also got a delicious Swiss Chard for a $1.99. Both more than reasonable pricing

I made pulled pork in the insta pot the other night. Took about an hour and a half for 5 pounds. Outstanding.
