You easterners, send some this way. We need it. Nothing all winter!

HotSkel - did you get any snow out there? Altoona got a bunch (I was watching the train cam at Horse Shoe Curve and saw it), but we basically got nothing here.
wain - Not much here. Neighbor is still in Florida. I think saboB & him are plotting against me, lol

In the mtn valleys of northern NH, there is a snow depth of 12 to 15"/ 30-38 cm. During the spring freeze thaw cycle it condenses as it consolidates. On the mtns themselves snow depth is 30-36" /76-91 cm. 100's hike in snowshoes to the summits each week day. 1000's visit the summits each Sat/Sun. Hikers dress for the conditions. So they can see the spectacular views! The view is from the summit of Mt Avalon in Crawford Notch, Harts Location, NH looking east into Maine. US Rt 302 is in the center, the 136 mile/219 km Saco River to the left, and on the right, the Conway RR w/its sightseeing excursions and dining trains. Another train, The Cog RR, takes you to the top of 6,288'/1,916 m Mt Washington. This is an adventure of a lifetime! It's 29° now 40° expected

29 and clear in Chambersburg, PA, with 59% humidity and a dew point of 16. High today’s in the mid-40s. Hard to get much warmer with all that snow pack.

Well it's 28 degrees here in the northern tip of the Appalachian region. The snow is gone leaving ........ You guessed it mud!!! It would be nice if it froze.

21F (-6C) Wind NW @ 4mph. 30.16 inHg. Clear Skies. High today of 33F (1C)
Good Morning, niaw - I see a few 40s in the long range forecast; of course that means April rains, but let's solve one problem at a time. Enjoy your Friday.
Dr_D - Mid 40s sounds good. Hope you'll be seeing some green under all that snow soon.
Mr_Geo - That photo says it all. Nice one.
saboB - Hope you enjoy your lunch with the rangers. You've earned some "fine dining" this year. Safe travels on your trip south (souther??) tomorrow.
pa1929 - It sure would be nice if we could make a trade.

Thanks, Niaw1 for helping bring the sun out! No clouds at all today!! Cold and nasty this weekend, then spring starts a week late on Monday.
Regarding the location 411, I saw several folks had added that information there and thought it was helpful, as we're all refugees from that other place learning our way around here.

It's 32° and sunny in the backyard (near Williamsport, PA) this morning.
rover11 - warming up, I see.
doc2son - not quite warm enough.
Tru - about location, that's what I stated in main description. I've added my location in my avatar - you can see how to do that thanks to CampKohler at gbo.freeforums.net/thread/470/using-profiles-display-field-location Looking forward to more reports from Napa.
drdenny - I saw your pictures on FB - wow! I hope you're taking it easy with the shoveling, as I told snodoopaw to do on the other side. The sun should start helping soon - it sure is bright up here this morning!
eggman - oops...now you have snow. Well, as you said, at least there is no mud.
pa1929 - I'm sure that there are many down towards the Philadelphia area who'd be glad to send to loads of snow if they could. Weird Winter!
sabob - what, no dinner on a barge tug this year?? Glad to see you made it hear form the other side. Drive safely tomorrow and enjoy where ever you go, then head back up north to where the real weather is (well, no tornadoes, nor t-storms).
sneakers - thanks for stopping in from Friendswood, TX!
HotSkel - yup ... they both heard about all the snow you guys are having and decided to stay south for a while longer. Got my lawn mower back from the shop yesterday - I'm ready for Spring!
Mr_Geo - I clicked your pic and saw details - nice! BUT - lost the page I came from before clicking. Might be a bug somewhere. Thanks for the pic anyhow.
johnmori - glad to see that decent weather is heading your way finally!
MidnightSun - welcome! How's everything in beautiful down town Littleton?
lorando - should be warming up there soon - nice weekend on tap for a good number of us.
SUVFan - glad I could help with the sunshine! Now, if others south of here could help with the temps a little.....
laceylady - arrrgh! No more of that stuff please...... Wishing you luck in the No Snow arena>
Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for stopping by!
