It's 27° and cloudy in the backyard this morning.
rover11 - Mansfield seems to be a pretty popular name for towns - we have one here in PA, not too far from where sabob lives.
sabob - and when are you coming back north? Must be nice seeing all the leaves and blossoms starting to come out.
bluwahoo - we spent a week at Camp Gulf in Destin a couple of years ago. Anywhere near you?
joelimo - Nashville IS on our list of "Places We Like", so Tennessee is definitely going to be a return trip. I'm sure we'll be stopping in Maryville too, so I'll let you know.
drdenny - Spring is "right around the corner" - I hope. Let's hope that we don't get an "iron snow" tomorrow, but if we do, it could be the last one of the season. Actually, you are a lot farther south than me, and much closer to this new storm, so best of luck.
As far as your avatar, I do all my reporting on a laptop (so far) and have no experience in doing it from a mobile device. Is there a mobile app or are you just accessing your browser then going into GBO (or ProBoards) from the browser?

Having issues with "newest message last" vs "first" so I missed a couple of you:
laceylady - do you get any tornadoes out your way? I'll bet it gets hotter in Summer and colder in Winter than it does here too.
loranda - no sun here yet, but I heard that it's coming. NP on the new thread - skipping it for a while will save time too when you stop and think about it. Have you seen or heard from Doolitter lately?

I've never tried to locate all of the Mansfields but I knew of the one in Pa. Also had a b-i-l that moved to the one in Ohio a long time ago. And now I'm in the one in Texas.
Currently it is 67 degrees with some wind. Gusts are supposed to get up around 35mph if you believe the guessers.

Niaw - I think our area is balancing out all the global warming going on everywhere else. 4th march snow storm is due in Monday. I can't remember the last year that has happened.

NW FL - it was dark and cloudy 5 minutes ago. Some serious rainfall at this moment with wind gusts. It's going to be a stormy day.
The spring flowers, shrubs, trees and lawn will love it.

As soon as it's fit !!! Yep the Red Bud is beautiful here, wish we could grow it at home. 56 this morning, torrential rain most of the night, up will come the river again I suppose. We have enough work we could stay quite a while but first of April seems like a good time to leave, that'll be 4 months volunteering, enough for one season.

63º and cloudy. It rained yesterday and into the wee hours of this AM. Hurrayyyyyyyyyyyyy. Not enough to cause mudslides. Thank you God.
I live 3 miles from Oprah's house. IOW, 3 miles west of Montecito.

West Central Illinois (about an hour drive from St. Louis, MO)
Currently 34° F. It was cloudy with a mix of light snow/freezing rain earlier. The temp just got above freezing about an hour ago, so the snow is changing to freezing rain/rain now. Great day to stay inside and keep in touch with friends (both old and new) from that other site.

niaw1 ........ Yes, Destin is 80 miles East. Beautiful place to visit. Expensive to live. Spring Break has started and the traffic is horrendous.
Today's rain has finally stopped. The temps are cooler tonight and chilly outside.
I dropped in at the VIRGINIAN BAR in WYOMING and had a coffee with kk7ba. Stop by and chat sometime. Visitors are needed.

It was around 80 degrees F for the ride in to work around 2:00 pm. I dropped the top on my Mustang. On the way home at 11 pm, the temperature was 64 degrees F and it was pouring down rain. I'm in Jacksonville, Florida.

28 and clear in Chambersburg, PA, with 69% humidity and a dew point of 20. Should make it to 50 today. We’re just outside the snow forecast area, but we might get some flurries or a dusting if the storm moves a little closer to the coast. You gotta feel for the folks in New England!
Wain, Iron snow? Or is it Onion? I don’t know what either of those mean! I’m using my iPhone. Ive gone into GBO by using the website but it hasn’t worked. I’ll try the other way. If a pic pops up you’ll know it worked
